If you use Magnus’ lightning powers it will stun a Tank for several turns, for example. You can also use smoke grenades to make your team more difficult to hit.

I’m Jens Erik and I’m about 2 months away from my 3 year anniversary at Funcom! I was hired back in 2016 to be the new community manager on Conan Exiles. I’m still CMing Exiles, in addition to other games like Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, Conan Unconquered, Moons of Madness, and several other unannounced things. I keep up with things on social media and the forums, and I also host the weekly livestreams over on our streaming channels.

I’m from Norway and have been living here all my life.

I have been in the games industry for around 10 years. I started off in games journalism, working freelance for various websites and outlets, before transitioning over to working as a community manager. Funcom was actually my first job on this side of the industry and I’m eternally grateful for the opportunity they gave me, and continue to give me.

As for games, I enjoy a bit of everything, but I definitely lean more towards single-player ex...

The plan was to roll both out at the same time, but unfortunately it wasn’t possible to delay the release of the DLC pack. We’ll have the patch out as quickly as we can.

Usually, standing underneath the loot bag will let you pick it up, but the positioning can be a bit finicky.

The Night of Lost Souls announcement on April 1st was an April Fools joke. I was the one who wrote the post, and while I did have a lot of fun while I was making it, it was never meant to be taken seriously and it would never make it into the game.

Fun fact: If you take the first letter in every paragraph and put them together it spells out “APRIL FOOLS”.

Have you tried validating your installation in Steam? Sometimes the installation might be missing a few files and that usually resolves it.

Do you also have an Oculus Rift plugged in, by any chance? It’s known to cause some issues sometimes.

Are you saying the achievements aren’t unlocking as intended, or that the game isn’t keeping track of your progress?

Did you buy the game on Steam or someplace else?

We’re sorry to hear you’re having issues. We are aware of the performance issues on PS4 Pro consoles and we’re investigating ways we can improve it.

At the moment I don’t think there are plans to roll out a dev kit, but if that changes we will let the community know!

Thank you for the feedback. The isometric camera angle was chosen because it would give players a decent overview in combat scenarios and it made the transition between real-time movement and tactical combat easier.

Unfortunately this is a little beyond my current technical expertise. Based on your computer hardware there shouldn’t be any compatibility issues.

I’ll check in with someone from the dev team and see fi they have a solution. My main tip is always to verify the game installation in Steam (which you’ve done), and updating all available drivers.

We haven’t declared the Steam forums “obsolete”, but we wanted a more centralized forum where we could engage with the community. Hence the Funcom forums.
