Thank you for these screenshots and videos, just noticing everyone who has shared this is playing on Difficulty 12.
Has anyone had this occur on any difficulty level lower than this?
Also what device/platform is everyone playing on?
Just so I am accurately attempting to reproduce this issue.

Hello all,
In the thread @Tabu shared, Gman updated that thread to let everyone know that we have been able to reproduce that issue and have reopened the investigation as to why players are experiencing this.
Although what Gman is referencing in that thread most recently, is related to Lycanthropy Gems and Burning Gems specifically interacting with Wildcard Gems.
In regards to what is occurring here, in the example given by @Dank this is correct, this is working as it should.

If you notice this happening again, could you grab a video of the battle?
Then we can confirm if there is an issue occurring or if as Kazef has mentioned, maybe a miscommunication with the spell wording.

@Dust_Angel is all over it! But as they have already asked, had you completed any battles after crafting?
If you had and completed the relevant & had any issues, please send through a ticket through to Support and we can investigate this further for you!
But unfortunately, if you had crafted the GAP and then did not complete any battles then you would not receive anything.
