The fix has been successfully deployed, and the Season has resumed.
Thank you very much!
We’ve finished creating and testing a fix for the issue, and we will implement the fix after realm restarts tomorrow. We’ve scheduled the realm restarts for Friday, January 3 at 7:00 a.m. PST / 10:00 a.m. EST, and we expect we’ll complete the fix about three hours later.
Again, thank you for your patience.
Update 11:10 a.m. PST - January 2, 2020
We continue to work through this issue, which is our top priority.
We’re working on a hotfix for the game that will resume Season 3, and at this time, we expect that we will be able to retroactively retain rating changes and tier updates. We do not expect that we will be able to retroactively retain the season games played count or win counts that increased during this brief offseason.
We’ll let you know once w...
Read moreOn behalf of everyone here on the World of Warcraft team, HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
2019 started with the unprecedented Battle of Dazar’alor, which led to the Alliance and Horde and bringing the Kul Tiran Humans and the Zandalari Trolls into our ranks. The Crucible of Storms challenged our most-experienced raiders, while the war over Azeroth inspired us to seek out and discover new places, peoples, and stories. The legend of Queen Azshara was renewed, as her great upheaval revealed Nazjatar and The Eternal Palace, even as we made first contact with the denizens of Mechagon and plundered a giant new dungeon. Players took to the skies above all of this, and joined with us in celebrating a remarkable milestone: 15 years of World of Warcraft!
Along the way, we got to see millions of players around the world come together to experience World of Warcraft as it once was with the release of WoW Classic.
We decided to celebrate the 15th Anniversary of WoW with a host of in-game ac...

The treats for Greatfather Winter are much appreciated.
We have a new hotfix incoming:
Read moreI’ve updated the OP here with a new hotfix that is subsequent to previous bug fixes on Reckoning. Please note that this new fix is waiting on realm restarts, which for most realms will occur as usually scheduled next week.
WoW Classic
So much this. Also,
That’s been my experience.
Yes. Similar to Free Character Moves, when you use the Paid Character Transfer service, you keep your rank.
However, you lose any kills that you’ve accrued for that week.
The hotfix described above is now live in this region, and will be applied during maintenance in other regions with their maintenance.
Update updated
I’ve edited the OP. It will be a 5% reduction.
With scheduled weekly maintenance in each region, we’re making the following adjustments to encounters in Azshara’s Eternal Palace:
Dungeons and Raids
In this region, maintenance is scheduled to begin at 7:00 a.m PDT on Tuesday, December 17. Thank you!
I’ve updated the OP here to reflect the changes we’re testing on the current PTR.
Added to the notes above:
Essences
Classes
I’d like to point out that I edited the OP here. It now reads:
With the Visions of N’Zoth content update, the game will automatically convert your Titan Residuum into silver. At the start of Season 4, we’ll set the drop rates of Titan Residuum and the prices of the items that it buys to lower values.
The currency conversion will happen with the content update.
Hello!
We’ve seen some discussion among players about saving Titan Residuum for Season 4, and we want to make sure that it is well known that this isn’t necessary. We feel like most players don’t see a meaningful benefit from saving Residuum for the next season, and for a few players, saving Residuum has become an unhappy obligation.
With the Visions of N’Zoth content update, the game will automatically convert your Titan Residuum into silver. At the start of Season 4, we’ll set the drop rates of Titan Residuum and the prices of the items that it buys to lower values.
And thereafter, Titan Residuum will work in Season 4 just like it did in Seasons 2 and 3.
Happy holidays!
We’re working on a hotfix for this issue. After the hotfix is applied and certain servers are restarted, we’re going to try to modify your mail so that anyone who has these will not be able to carry them over into the next week.
And going forward, new Marks of Honor in the mail will have a 24-hour expiration.
Thank you for the report!
We have to do a very quick restart to pick up a fix for a priority bug.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
