User Interface Adjustments
Lost and Found
We’ve seen feedback like this, expressing interest in the ability to bring consumable items into unrated PvP environments to spice up the flow of combat. Over the years, we put tight restrictions on these to minimize disruption. We felt this was especially important during a time when the solo battleground player did not have alternative forms of content if the chaotic and sandboxy nature of unrated battlegrounds became too overwhelming.
Now, with a variety of game modes to pick from and a much narrower gap in power disparity between players, we want to take an opportunity to review this philosophy. In a hotfix going out tomorrow with the start of Season 3, we will adjust a variety of Dragonflight consumables to enable their use in Unrated Battleg...
Read moreAs of a hotfix that went live a few minutes ago, the Treasures of the Emerald Dream achievement again rewards Forest Lord’s Antlers.
If you’ve completed the achievement and not received the reward, logging out and back in should do the trick.
As a result of recent testing and analysis of class performance now that the Guardians of the Dream patch is live, we’re going to make a few adjustments to over- and under-performing specs just before the beginning of Dragonflight Season 3 on Tuesday. Please note that changes to tier sets are listed below for reference, and their differentials are in comparison to the last public build of the PTR.
Again, we’d like to thank everyone who tested classes on the Guardians of the Dream PTR. Your feedback was very helpful!
Death Knight
More crows are on the way!
We also found a bug with their health, and that will be fixed soon.
We have a hotfix on the way that should stop Winter Night Dreamsaber dropping multiple times for the same player.
Please feel free to post about bugs in our Bug Report forum. I didn’t find this one there when I last looked.
Just now!
Players who didn’t receive the swords due to the bug should now start seeing them, and if you don’t, logging out and back in should do the trick.

Before we launch Season of Discovery, we’ll patch Classic Era and Hardcore to version 1.15.0, which includes UI adjustments and bug fixes for Classic Era and Hardcore realms.
Default UI Adjustments
Developers’ notes: These are oft-requested quality-of-life features that are easily accessible using addons, so we’ve decided to just go ahead and add this functionality to the default UI, especially since this functionality has never been a restricted part of the Interface API.

Read moreShortly after maintenance on Tuesday, we applied a hotfix that inadvertently caused certain rewards from the upcoming PvP season to become available to players purchasable with Season 2 currencies, specifically Trophies of Strife and the optional reagents used to add PvP item level onto crafted items. We have since deployed a fix for that situation and want to clarify what to expect for players who may have acquired them.
As players prepare to face off against Fyrakk and his allies in Amirdrassil, we’re making a final round of tuning changes to the forthcoming raid trinkets. The following adjustments are listed in comparison to how these items previously performed on the Guardians of the Dream PTR.
Aside from addressing unexpected extreme outliers or bugs that might arise, we hope to need no further tuning changes until after players have defeated Fryakk on Mythic difficulty.

Read moreYou’ve got it. We’ve been planning on doing this with the launch of Season of Discovery.
I shared this with our entire quest design team, including those who wrote these parts.
Thank you. We’ve very glad you enjoyed it.
At about 3:21 p.m. PST today, to address a situation where Dream Wardens Renown could be infinitely farmed, we temporarily hotfixed the game to limit impact while we investigated the situation and evaluated our options. What we did at that time was to make it so that contributing only Dewdrops in the Emerald Bounty no longer granted Rep, while contributing seeds (any seed) to the Emerald Bounty did grant Rep.
We don’t want the most efficient way to max out a Renown to be pure grinding. So with a hotfix that we applied to the game at about 7:24 p.m. PST, we’ve reinstated Dream Wardens Rep from Dewdrop contributions into Medium and Large Emerald Blooms, with a large up front Rep bonus to the first five each week. It will remain open-endedly grindable, and for anyone who was doing a moderate number of seeds per week, it will be a net improvement.
We apologize for the confusion today.
Yes, the bug is now fixed and you should get your missing Seedbloom in the mail in the Emerald Dream zone.
Hello!
We encountered a bug that prevented Seedbloom from being rewarded through the completion of the weekly Blooming Dreamseeds quest.
We have now hotfixed the issue and it should reward 1 Seedbloom going forward.
Additionally, if you completed the quest before our hotfix went out, go to the Emerald Dream and then check your mail. The local postmaster should be sending out replacement Seedblooms.
Thank you.
Yes, and for anyone who still see the bugged state, simply log out and back into the game on any affected boosted characters.
We’ve now deployed a fix for this issue, as well as a cleanup process.
Going forward, the bug should not affect anyone anew, and if you’re already affected, simply log out and back into the game on any affected boosted characters.
Thank you for your reports!
We’re developing a fix for this visual issue, and expect it to require server restarts when the fix is ready.
