Hey Captains,

As stated before the CV rework and these CVs being removed from the game, the odd tier CVs may come back. If they do, they may have a more supporting role to play.

For now, that is all the information I can give you.

Hey Ensign_Cthulhu,

Yes, you will have a chance to get the missions again. They will be active until October 31st.

Note: If you get a missions for a ship that you already own, you will get credits, port slot and a commander. You can only receive each mission once.

Hey BrushWolf and other Captains,

It is not our intention to exclude co-op players when designing these events. Take for example the most recent event https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/sales-and-events/yousaygoodbye-isaysavo/ where co-op wins are counted at .5 of a point.

The reason a co-op match is worth .5 points is because co-op winrate is roughly two times higher than other game modes. This makes it easier to farm wins and drives players away from random battles.

We appreciate your feedback on how the design of events are done and we are always looking at ways to incorporate all game modes.

Do you have any ideas on how to better incorporate co-op into these events? How would you design an event that includes co-op taking into account match length, tiers and a theme?

Hey Captains,

Your taste in music spans decades! I typically don't listen to any music while playing ranked and I like to keep the SFX low as well. Now the real question for all of you that have given examples, do you play these on repeat or do you setup a playlist for the time you are playing?

Have you found that some music you listen to be bad luck? Like a particular song you avoid or band?

Hey chrysostomos_1,

Thanks for the nice comment. I try to give what I find to work best for my playstyle, but by no means is that 100% correct =). I just like having the extra heal because you never know when you want to have it but not. I am in no way knocking vigilance and it is a skill that some captains use to good effectiveness. I think this also depends on how you play your BBs as well. If you are constantly tanking more, SI is better and if you are playing the more sniping supportive role maybe vigilance is better. This why builds are not 100% and you can switch things out =).

Good luck on the waters!

Anytime, it will take some getting used to but if you can learn to do this properly the results will be good for you =).

When you are in the spotter plane view, you can see more clearly where the tracers are originating from the smoke. This doesn't make the ship visible, just allows you to get a better idea of where the ship is and where to aim.

Hey Col_Nasty,

The number one counter to ships sitting in smoke in a BB is learning to use your spotter plane correctly (if your BB has one). This is a skill that takes time to master but you will see results if you keep practicing. There are also other options you can do but this depends on how far away from the smoke you are and what ship you are in.

Options:

Spotter Plane is first and foremost. Learn to use this consumable and you will see results. There are very few things that are as satisfying doing good damage to ships sitting in smoke.

If you are in a German BB with hydro, you can try and rush the smoke. This is risky because if you are spotted while trying to move to the smoke the ship in the smoke and other ships will shoot you.

The easiest thing to do is just disengage and use your concealment to put distance between you and the smoked area.

Good luck and definitely ...

Hey Nevermore135,

Thank you for that constructive feedback, there is always room for improvement =).

I like that idea and I will pass it along!

Hey wildgooseman,

This is for you to be able to track how many wins you get over the course of the event and how many times you meet the requirements of the second mission.

Do not worry about the numbers listed =), just play and know you can see your progress!

Hey Captains,

The Military Monthly Contributor flag was part of an in-game event a few years ago.

You can read the whole article here: https://worldofwarships.com/en/news/general-news/military-appreciation-month-2016/

There are currently no plans to remove this flag from players that have earned it.

Hey DracoTB,

You are a little off the mark with this IMO. The Kitakaze is a great ship with very few weaknesses.

Can you explain what you think are weak about the guns and torps? Yes, you are limited to one rack of torps but you get the reload booster.

The guns are great and you can rack up damage quite fast.

The only weakness that I can remember off the top of my head is the turning radius.

Feel free to check out Dolphin's guide!

Hey sheppard12,

Good on ya! That is what I like to see, knowing the correct targets to prioritize. There are only a few DDs that have a heal so typically the damage you do stays.

Do you have a specific range you shoot/don't shoot at DDs or do you shoot at them whenever they are lit?

Congrats on getting the Jean Bart!

Let us know after a few matches what you like about it! The Jean Bart is a fun ship to play and has a lot of positives going for it.

If you have questions or need help, don't be afraid to ask =).

Captains,

We recognize there is a currently a bug with the Q/E keys and steering.

Please read this PSA regarding Q and E key and their Fix.

Post
Kami on Forums - Thread - Direct

Hey Captains,

We know about this issue (Q/E sometimes behave weirdly and do not set the steering to the middle) and we've already prepared the fix. But as this bug is related to game logic, it is not recommended to "hot-fix" it at once, due to very high technical risks.

Thus we're going to release it with the closest major planned update where the proper integration and testing is possible atm - 0.8.7.

Currently the only known way to mitigate this bug is using A/D instead of Q/E in the proximity of the islands.

I apologize for the inconvenience, and we will squish this very soon.

Cheers!

Yes, if you choose the "resources" container, you have a chance to get coal in slot 2 and 3. The chances/values of this have not been changed.
