Welcome to this week’s edition of the New Player Captain's Log! For those of you who aren't sure what this is or what it might do, feel free to check out the introductory post here.

With each topic I discuss, I also added a question at the end to see how y’all feel about things in comparison to how I feel. I just thought it would be an interesting way to get some discussion going!

Greetings Captains,

I just wanted to let you know that due to the holidays and the NA Office being closed, I haven't had a sufficient amount of time to play the game and thus I won't have much to share this week.

However, I did want to create a thread just in case any other new players (or experienced players, for that matter) wanted a space to be able to discuss their weekly experiences, ask questions or just have some lighthearted discussions!

Happy New Year, gamers! New Year's Day in the US inspires a lot of people to pick up resolutions in hopes that they better themselves in the year to come. We decided it might be a fun idea to take a similar idea and apply it to this month's forum event! Challenge:
Reply to the main thread providing two screenshots: one of you being handed a defeat using a ship of your choice and another of you achieving a victory with that same ship. This can be completed in any game type (excluding Training Rooms). The match must have occurred between January 1st 15:00 UTC (9am CT) and January 31st 18:00 UTC (12pm CT). Rules:
1. Make sure everything required for the challenge is clearly readable in the screenshot.

Hmm interesting suggestion! I FXP'ed the line up to the Amagi so I could use the GvK skin that I got, but it would be worth it to go back and experience the line from the beginning I think!

Update 0.11.11 is here, so please provide any bug reports you may encounter here.

If you're fairly certain you've encountered a bug, we'd like to encourage you to submit it to the Game Support section of the WoWs ticket queues, within a section where bugs are asked for, or to create a post within this sub-forum.

Remove your mods and try again before sending in a bug report as mods tend to be the culprit. YES we know we have made it automatic, but we state this anyways as sometimes players will find a workaround.

DO NOT just move your old mods into the new mods folder, make sure they are updated!

I do ask that you please provide any and all information that you can when reporting an issue.
