Update: This is now resolved.
My device is a Samsung Galaxy S9. I have been able to play season 5 without issue, but when I installed the latest patch that was aimed at helping Russian players with connectivity issues, this message appeared. I play on NAE servers, so I do not know why this patch is causing me issues now.

Instead of releasing a fix in a game update, we actually released a fix for the issue via a hotfix today. Please let us know if you're still experiencing any trouble.

Currently, when playing Fortnite, players cannot create system-level parties that include players on both PS5 and PS4. (However, players on PS5 and PS4 can still party up together using the in-game party system.) As we work to address this issue, you can track its status with this Trello card.
