We've rolled out several fixes for this bug and we haven't seen any more reports of it since then. Are you saying you are still getting this bug? If so, can you tell me how you are getting it to happen after the fixes? Is it random?

Hey everyone,

We've been digging into the reports of players not receiving PERKUP / REPERK from schematics after recycling them. We've discovered the underlying cause of this and are working to get it resolved.

While this issue isn't 100% impacting everyone.. It's highly recommend to not recycle any schematics until this issue is fully resolved. We're currently diving into the data and discussing the impact of the lost PERK / REPERK.

Hey everyone!

In Season 9 we rolled out some major changes that should have helped with performance, particularly on consoles. As mentioned in our v9.0 patch notes; We made the following changes:

  • Reduced hitches related to players connecting to a match while other players are already in zone.
  • Reduced in-zone asset loading around Hoverboard use, gameplay effects, and audio.
  • Improved framerate when rendering the HUD.
  • Reduced cost of supporting interaction with quest items.
  • Resolved a source of big hitches due to loaded abilities
  • Improved rendering performance on Xbox One

Very well thought out, well written, and constructive write up. I'll be sure to include this in my report for v9.0 feedback. You definitely pose very valid points of view and the dev team is very aware at a lot of these ask.

Please keep in mind, we have to keep the entire player base in mind and not just those that are at the top end of Twine. If we focus 100% on end game then we aren't keeping content up for newer players and vice versa for elder players. We definitely have to find that healthy balancing act of getting it right for everyone. Wargames is just a start and we have some more challenging simulations coming later in S9 that will help with this. We still have some really cool things we're cooking up to help with this, it just isn't time to reveal them as we have quite a bit of work to do. However, as an end game player myself (and avid WoW raider) I 100% understand the want and need for more progression / true end game content.

The traps (or structures) that get torn up by the tornado are not to be replaced, is that what your notes are implying ? What's the point of saving the layout then ? It defeats the whole purpose of saving the original state of your SS prior to starting it or for that matter doing the wargame itself. Can you please give a more accurate response to what the saved state means.

Anything placed in your SSD before you start the Wargames will still be there after in concludes. This includes anything that is blown up or destroyed by modifiers. If it isn't, then there is a bug. However, anything placed during the SSD will not be there when the Wargames concludes as it restores itself to how it was before the games started.
