You...didn't really give us any steps though? Saying there will be "some kind of bugfix before Season 6" is very vague both in terms of what and when. You haven't said what you're doing or any kind of date. Are we waiting WEEKS?
We don't have specific dates for it yet - as the work is being done right now. It's complicated to estimate how long specific bugs take to fix before you jump in and figure out why it's broken.
The team are working to a specific date - but it's a bad idea to share that publicly when it might move around a bit.
Other than the date, we've told you everything we know in terms of how we'll go about tackling the current situation with the game. What extra info do you think is missing?
Hey >:( and when fall guys is coming to nintendo swich i have been waiting all year for this opportunity bcs this game is funny and well... intresting
So exactly when is coming to nintendo swich, a lot of people are thinking this month or maybe november Some people say at the end of this season that i have asked when is finishing they say maybe october or november, and someone told me tbat they used to have a count down ( 5 days 21 hrs) <--- example. So im asking again when is coming to nintendo swich?
Unfortunately, we don't have any news for the Xbox or Switch versions to announce just yet. We aren't able to share the dates until they're locked down, and there will likely be marketing activity around it - rather than us just being able to answer on social media/reddit. We're working on them both though, really excited to get it into more people's hands!
Any point in submitting bugs to support? When I submitted about the bar speeding up on jump showdown a problem I’ve had with other moving objects they just said I jumped too early. I submitted another one earlier about the waiting for rewards taking longer and loaded into the next game with no cosmetics and I was instructed how to set up internet on my PS4, I wouldn’t be able to play online at all if it was that. I provided clips and support ID. A simple our team will investigate this issue will suffice in future.
They usually reply, but all tickets raised with support are 100% logged and added to the number of issues reported. It might feel like it's not helping (Huge apologies in that case) but it's super helpful to us. If we know one issue has 10 tickets, and another has 100 tickets, we know to focus on the 100 ticket issue first if possible.
Hi everyone, apologies for the wall of text, I just want to cover a few important things 🐸
Firstly, we've caught up with all of the feedback from last week and over the weekend 😅
We're not able to respond to everything, but we always discuss all feedback with the dev team!
Initially, the feedback was focused around the new UI changes, but it now covers multiple issues across the game (Including physics & gameplay)
We want to let you know that we've heard you loud and clear 📢
We want the game to feel fun, stable, and most of all... fair!
We've taken a little while to respond as we've been calculating how long each bug will take to fix and how many people each one affects, so that we can correctly prioritise.
We've also jiggled around our timeline so that we can double down on fixing up the most annoying bugs!
We're looking to do a bug fix update before Season 6 addressing the most critical issues.

Wow, Oliver. Just @ me next time, will ya?

They are 100% in finals, at least in duos. In Thin Ice they just run right off the edge after running around for 4 seconds.
They're not - the bots haven't been programmed to understand/participate in any of the finals. It's impossible for them to be spawned into a final. If they made it to a final, they'd be eliminated on the elimination screen before the final, even if they qualified.
If you're seeing beans doing weird things in finals or being bad at the game, it's real players... sadly lol.
Looks awesome, happy birthday to him!
This is so useful to see laid out like this! Have shared it around the team to see where we can cut out time spent not playing! Thank you!
you're not allowed to look at that lol
lol I need a print of this on my wall
Dead game, we all play minesweeper now
Huge W for this, the funny number
My biggest win streak is 2 lol
No it's simply because the netcode is garbage.
Rocket league is also a physics heavy game where you can bump and demolish other players and yet it doesn't have this nonsense desync.
Weird, I googled Rocket League desync after you said that and did see lots of Reddit threads about it. Psyonix is also part of Epic games so our Devs are chatting with theirs about their approaches to handling desync, hopefully they have solutions that would also help us.
I'm aware it's a complex problem, but name literally one other large online multiplayer game where this problem is this bad? Why can all of them get it right but Fall Guys can't, even after over a year of attempting to fix it?
I think it's because our game has such physical close-contact with other players, so it's a lot more obvious. We literally have races so it's really obvious if a player is behind on your screen... but somehow finishes before you.
It's a very physics-heavy game, and physics is one of those things that's notoriously difficult to get right in an online situation.
Just to compare to another type of game - say you shoot at another player in an FPS - if there was the same lag/desync issues, you might have a situation where it looks like you shot them, but maybe for them you would have missed.
The devs can basically then give the advantage to the player who shot, because they are the ones that see you in their aim. So even if they technically missed for the other player, the other player can't see that it would have missed.
In our game, we have it favouring the person who 'does the grab' - which is why it's rare that you'll feel like you grabbed someone, bu...

Will ask the team how it found its way back
The team are super aware of this, and it really is a prioritisation to investigate ways to make it better. From what the team have said, it's unfortunately a really complex problem to fix entirely but one they hope to gradually improve by trying different approaches.
As a player though, it feels super unfair and frustrating. We really get it and it's something we're talking about all of the time with the team. I know they have some new ideas to try and combat it that they've not tried before. Hopefully it can be improved over more time.
Always feel bad seeing clips like this though, it's definitely not how we want the experience to be!
Love it, I'll tweet about it too to get the twitter lot involved
Let's fill the game with hotdogs!
