It's aimed at people who haven't had chance to finish the fame path yet - to give them an opportunity to zoom through it with half as much grind before the next season starts. When you're in our hardcore community, you see a lot of people who have completed the season pass, but the actual percentage is pretty low. We want as many people as possible to get the fame path content as there's currently no other way to get legacy fame path content once a season ends.

You would rather accuse your players of just being made for wanting to crown farm when they are mad you put in a RNG show as a half assed fix. Sorry but part of your job is taking the hits when things go wrong. That’s part of any job that deals in what is essentially customer service. You could just do a better job. That would solve a lot of problems. But no. You attack your own community and blame them for things that should have been fixed months ago and you probably wonder why your playerbase is on life support. You are doing a bad job and need to find something better suited to y...

"see that’s the problem you take everything personally when no one is personally attacking you."

but also just in this one response...

"you're doing a terrible job as a community manager"

"you don't communicate"

"you could just do a better job"

"you are doing a bad job and need to find something better suited to your skills"

"all you do is deflect blame"

"be a man"

"people are pissed at you"

"You need to face facts that you and your team are a major part of the problem"

and then your other responses...

"you run the twitter like a high school intern"

"Oliver is a terrible community manager"

"he treats it like a joke"

"he needs to go"

"you attack your own community"

"oliver doesn't care"

Cool, thanks for the feedback, and for not personally attacking me.

Why is it every post you get so defensive when people call you out. Honestly all you do is criticize your player base and despite having 1.4 million Twitter followers based on likes and retweets there are 1-2k max people who actually interact. The rest couldn’t care less. Honestly they should just fire you and use your salary for developers to get stuff fixed

I get defensive when people are either personally criticising me, or criticising my work. You're literally saying I should be fired, am I just supposed to say thank you for the feedback.

This isn't true, there are bugs with reporting - but nobody gets shadowbanned from reporting - that's not a thing.

It sounds like your reporting is bugged though, please get in touch with support so they can get your logs and find out what's going wrong!

I don't know why you're all downvoting me for saying that shadow banning isn't a thing?

Am I just being downvoted on every post because of HH?

I know you're joking but it probably is a harder bug to fix, it doesn't affect the in-game economy, and it's not affecting 100% of players - so it's probably not something that will be fixed immediately

Please make a support ticket though - we use the number of reports to help us prioritise bugs

Who cares about how well ur doing on social media if it doesn't translate into players....

It was in response to critique about how the account is run - I was saying the number of followers is proof that even if some people don't like it, it's not run badly

I do agree that i think communication and context is better than none.

I do also think that the community has pent up frustrations beyond this situation that doesn't create a winning scenario for you guys given the game's past; because people are going to tell you why this decision/situation is frustrating to them, but often times by that point the bucket is overflowing and its actually not just that thing that they're claiming they're annoyed about anymore

Very true, I notice in a lot of these threads there are lots of past grievances too

Hopefully, things will improve as the team continues to grow and we slowly move towards patching out all of the legacy issues

I hope we'll be able to get back to shorter seasons too - I think things are worse as the season has been particularly long this time around - we really need some new levels and content. I can't wait for Season 5!

Also it was in response to someone complaining that we "promised to fix desync with season 4.5" which is just flat out untrue.

Unless somebody invents a new internet that is actually INSTANT globally, there will always be a problem of desync and lag in EVERY video game.

There's not one single video game that has no lag or desync because the internet itself has ping, load time, and isn't instant.

We'll never fix this problem entirely, and we've never said that.

We say we'll keep making improvements, and we will keep doing that - we have people constantly working on these issues. So, hopefully, they'll keep getting better over time, but they'll never go away completely - and we've never promised that.

Kind of a tone deaf response as the general consensus is latency issues got significantly worse with season four but we are only seeing the response to something so I’d need more context.

oliver has had his chance for long enough now and he screws up just as much. all he shows is unprofessionalism and immaturity. as community director, he posts no news, updates, issues or fixes. he just does memes and stupid crap trying to be funny. right now, he’s posing as a penguin that talks like a child. it’s embarrassing for this company when no other game is being represented this way on social media. he’s supposed to be the link between players and devs and he’s awful at it. in this case of ‘don’t shoot the messenger’ the messenger has already shot themselves

I pass everything along to the Devs that the community is saying. I don't decide myself when to post updates about the new season - that's always a collaboration with the marketing and publishing teams. Do you really think I wouldn't tweet the date of a new season or show videos of the new content if I was able to?

I generally rely on posting memes and things to reach a new audience and keep things ticking between seasons.

Season 4 has been super long, and bugs take a while to fix, so there's not as much updates and news as I imagine it would seem

I'm really not trying to brag when I say this also, but the fall guys twitter account is much bigger than many other games - even games with way more players than Fall Guys. Yes, I post differently to other game accounts - but that's worked on super well for us and is intentional

My favorite is when the community says "hey we feel this way about these things" and he says "well yeah but from a marketing perspective..."

I usually answer that way when people try to give advice on how I should be running the twitter or specifically criticise something we've done as a marketing beat

I try to explain the reason why we do things, even if it's something they don't like. Isn't it better to try and give context rather than just "okay, thanks for letting us know you don't like it"... Or is that a better approach?

The points you make above don't answer the questions people are asking, at the moment the best one I've got is the fact that this show's final was something planned months ago.. But that also raises more questions.

I get that you don't design the levels, but answers like "people are upset that they didn't get to farm crowns while it was broken" show us that you're not actually getting what's going on, what's actually making people mad, and that you're just trying to gaslight your fans.

Sorry that was meant to be in reference to why I didn't tweet about the bug - and then didn't tweet about the fix. Tweeting about it would amplify the problem beyond the relatively smaller core audience on Reddit + Discord.

I often see people say that I should tweet more about bugs and what we're working on - I fully get that opinion - but from a marketing perspective, it's just not that great to keep tweeting about issues - especially when they take a while to fix and the only update is 'we are still working on it'. We post update threads on this Reddit when there's news and keep a public issues trello updated when things change for fans who want to follow that - but the Twitter is meant to be more focused on the game content and more appealing to a wider range of people.

With this final, I fully get that people dislike that in the end it comes down to luck because your progression through the "race" is limited by the hoverboard itself. I understand why people ar...
