It is, but it really comes down to tone of voice. One seems to imply interest in it being fixed/removed, with an aggressive tone. The other labels it as a skill-based, but with a snarky jab towards anyone who possesses such skills.

I think secret skill-based alternate routes are an interesting idea that could be explored in future racing rounds. It’s an idea touched on by the branching paths in rounds like See Saw & Skyline Stumble, by that little jump alot of people do in Slime Climb, by the first ledge & by the big fan in Dizzy Heights, and by Big Yeetus in general, but they don’t do much with it. I think designing opportunities for tomfoolery into the map would add an exciting extra edge of skill to the game, all while being completely ignorable for more laidback players.

My long-ass random thought was probably not what you were bargaining for cracking a joke here, but what else am I gonna do with it?

I love the idea of there being extra routes if you're skilled enough, but this is completely just a glitch (the weird mantling bug) combined with ineffective colliders (they should be way bigger, or sloped, or anything that would prevent this)

There's an amount of skill in breaking the game in this specific way, sure, but in this case it's really just a frustrating bug that we need to fix! The bug is also inconsistent, which makes it harder for other players to use the same exploit to catch you.

Honestly, it's just so much better not to announce things until they're 100% locked down. Even if you give a vague idea, it causes a lot of negativity if it has to move.

In your example, if we put 60-90 days, there would be loads of backlash if it then took over 90 days.

We've learnt not to give windows for things unless you're 100% confident you can hit the window. Even when we've been 99.9% confident before, things haven't always planned out. I don't just mean on Fall Guys, I mean on every single game I've ever worked on for the last 8 years lol.

It's better we make sure the updates are awesome, and then announce them when we're super-confident, than to announce them and either have to delay, or ship an update that has lots of known issues.

But actually that never happened, and not for Season 4 as well. Can we know why, please??

Yes, as mentioned in that thread, I said they'd remove it because that was where the conversation was at... then... as you can see in the thread... everyone said they didn't want that, and as we discussed it more - it was decided that the better option was not to remove it, but add 'approx' to it

I've fed this new feedback to the team again though and asked if we can revisit it

That would definitely be a better option.

You shouldn't be giving us a rough countdown though. Other BRs are pretty set on the dates of their upcoming seasons and communicate better. It's unprofessional. I hope being owned by Epic now causes this to change starting next season.

Unfortunately, we're not at a point where we can lockdown the release date of the next season when we release the current season. I hope we get there one day, but we're not there yet. We either give a rough date, or we give no date at all. We suggested that before but the feedback was that players would rather have some indication, even if it's not accurate.

I've been tweeting like that for over a year lol. We'll share more about 4.5 on the run up to it. There's no point hyping people up too far away.

The countdown is just meant as a really rough guide so you know the minimum amount of time you have left to complete the game path, and we've pushed it back on every season. I do hope the designers will find a clearer way to display that the date isn't meant to be accurate for the next season starting, as we have similar feedback every time.

I vote yes lol.

The countdown is still in as it gives you a rough idea of the absolute MINIMUM amount of time you have left to complete the battle pass. It's never correctly counted down to a new season going live - until we've announced the actual date for the next Season.

It's been really painful previously, so the short-term fix was that we got the word 'approx' added, which helps a little bit.

I really hope we can add in something in the future that says "Season X TBC" or something that indicates the countdown isn't to the next season... or just anything to make it more clear really lol

You got it twisted, I don't think grabbing is why you lose players, you lose players because you're out of touch with what people enjoy about your game (and are hilariously incompetent devs, like seriously, over a month since season 4 launch and grabbing is still completely broken). Mediatonic's attitude towards grabbers just makes it easy to look forward to the continuous bleeding of the player base.

We've continuously been improving the game since we launched it and taking on community feedback. Just to give a few examples of things we heard the community feedback on, and then addressed - Quitting at any point, Squads mode, seeing your squad fall with you on the loading screen, being able to spectate your squadmates first. We also prioritise bugs by how many tickets we get through support. It may take longer than is ideal, but we're getting through them and fixing things. "Grabbing is completely broken" is an exaggeration. Many players are not facing the same issues. Please can I check that you've submitted a ticket to support to help bump up the issues that you're seeing?

You're being a reductionist if you're trying to attribute movement in the Daily Active Users to the presence of game mechanics that have been in the game since its inception.

Timing out was actually never intended to happen. When we shipped the game, there were no rounds in which we realised it would be possible. We didn't even know what would happen.

Lone Daring Lion is still playing (and hacking) right now. It's 24 hours since I reported him.

Do you have a video or anything like that? It's hard to just use one image to work out if they were cheating

Yeah that's the best thing to do, report to support and then they can count how many people report an issue. The more reports, the higher it is bumped up in priorities

Also, if the account existed when writing the tweet, the name should still pop up as Blue. And if i were to click on his name, twitter will just let me view the account but it will say "did not bring any results" because it is deleted. Oliver basically just wrote the name without checking the name is blue and if it even goes to the account.

Not true

And, if the user did delete their profile, i would still be able to click on the name but twitter will say "Tweets not available". If the user did change his profile in the past 24 hours, the name on the tweet you posted should of srill been blue. Also what about the other 2? Did they just deleted their comment on it? One did not comment but still eligible to enter despite the posts saying you have to comment. And, why did the other one did not comment but won it by entering an entirely different giveaway?

Im just stating this to hopefully resolve some confusion that can be answered. If a mistake is made from my statements please explain on it because overall some of these winners just dont make sense in terms of how twitter works.

The account isn't deleted, they changed their name. I don't feel it's good faith for me to post their new name, as they obviously changed it for a reason.

The name WAS blue when I posted it and linked to their profile. It actually still shows blue for me:

The other two I think I might have messed up, looking back, because I didn't realise I used the same hashtag rule for both competitions.

I can pick two additional winners in that case, on Monday.

Apologies for my mistake there.

The new software will solve that problem in future.
