Yes please leave it be. XD so many of my playthroughs were already done with it bugged. (If anything change the description so it no longer says you can only take it once :P fixed either way in that case).

(Plus shouldn't expanded arsenal be a priority? It's giving busted DCs and is really counter-intuitive the way it works).

Just got an update from the creative director himself, it stays :) Too many builds are based on it to change it now. So consider this a feature.

I'm thinking the bug is that the "extra mythic ability" feat can be taken multiple times, because it bugs out when you've taken it multiple times and you switch mythic paths at mythic level 8. I had taken the "extra mythic ability" feat 3 times, and after I switched my Druid's mythic path to Golden Dragon I suddenly had the "master shapeshifter" mythic ability twice, and I lost the "enduring spells" mythic ability. When analysing the character in Toybox I could confirm that the "enduring spells" trait was indeed gone, and it worked fine again when I added it back with Toybox. I took both "master shapeshifter" and "enduring spells" per the "extra mythic ability" feat, and they were my first and second picks for "extra mythic abilty". This stuff didn't happen when I didn't switch mythic paths, so the bug might also simply be with switching mythic paths, though.

In any case, I'm really curious what the official Owlcat stance on this question is. Is it intentional that...

It's a bug. Unsure if we'll be fixing it though, as it would affect the current gameplay a lot.

Take the time you need. I’ve been without this DLC all my life; I can take a few more weeks for a better product.

Spoil us some of the new stuff though—items, enemies, music tracks, anything for our hungry gamer’s eyes and ears :D

Gonna show something tomorrow :)

Did any streamers etc. got earlier access? I wonder if you will be able to respec in dlc without Hilor. Perhaps when you migrate your character you can respec before? Or create new hero from the scratch? But then again how do you decide how eqch companion ended up? I assume your decisions from main campaign do not matter at all.

You can both create a new high level character party or import yours from the main campaign.

Take your time guys. No worries. I assume this also applies for the 1.2 patch, correct?

Nope, that's the DLC only. Patch should come earlier.

Crusaders!

We know you are excited for the Inevitable Excess DLC as much as we are. After all, who wouldn’t want to continue adventures of a high level party with incredible powers and face new monsters and threats?

However, after we ran a number of internal tests before release, we realized that the experience you would get from this new adventure was not mythic enough yet. We wanted you to feel great and powerful, but also face the foes that would be tricky and challenging. Unfortunately, some of the new battle encounters we designed didn’t convey our intentions properly, and we felt like the new enemies and their mechanical features needed more balancing. And so, with a heavy heart, we have to admit that we need additional time before we can let you play this DLC.

Inevitable Excess will be released on the 3rd of March instead of tomorrow. We apologize for the inevitable delay, and hope that you will love the DLC after our team and the denizens of Axis g...

I don't understand why you would claim its fixed over and over, make us download 20 gig updates. and it's not fixed. please u/OwlcatStarrok let us know what is going on? Why are you guys releasing fun new DLC when your kickstarter backers cant even play the game?

Hello, have you tried the latest version?

The issue with Macs is that so often it works absolutely fine on all our test devices and problems only pop up when they're tested by the community :( And so often the problematic saves sent to us are simply not showing any misbehaviour at all on our machinery, so it's literally walking in the darkness trying test solutions in attempt to fix the elusive bug.

It's extremely frustrating and annoying for the dev team as much as it is for you guys. We're doing all we can there and really sorry about that :(

Right-click the game on Steam -> Manage -> Browse local files. Then proceed to Digital Rewards folder. It's there :)

Yes, but don't forget to do more expansions to KM and WotR. I don't want these stories to end just yet, and I'm sure plenty of others feel the same...

At least WotR for certain has a long way to go :)

I want to support you guys but I had to hold myself off for at least six months.

While far from perfect, we've seen a significant improvement over Kingmaker in terms of launch stability. I'm certain it will be even better in the third game.

For Wrath, personally I was able to complete the game after starting it roughly a month into release, without encountering any significant bugs.

Also, will there be a kickstarter again?

Can't share any info about it yet, unfortunately. But the waiting is less horribly long than it could be. So stay tuned.

You're a great team but be careful to not be too confident with yours numbers growing. Wrath is, for sure, a great improvement from kingmaker but the last act (Act V) was gutted and rushed out of content (propably because of a lack of time).

We're definitely taking effort to update our procedures based on the previous experience :)

Made by the same team, which became bigger and more experienced, taking the previous trial and error into account, in a great setting, and faithful to the principles of game design from the first two games, I'm certain you guys won't be disappointed :) Stuff I'm seeing now there is already a blast, even a long way before release.
