A new big paid DLC (hurray!)?

A new quest akin to Love Beyond Death via free DLC?

A crossover with Warhammer? Can I kick Nurgle, Khorne and other jerks as the KC? ^^

Any chance we might get something today to celebrate the 4 years of WoTR?

It's 3 years :)

The second option you suggested is close to reality, except this will have some mechanical content as well.

Off topic but do you plan to fix a bug that involves not being able to use exotic weapons like the gnome hammer or Dwarven urgrosh even though some races that learn them by default but can't use them.

These are things that are best reported in-game via ALT+B.

I hope this is not a Warhammer thing. I've never touched it with a 99 and a half foot pole, and I never intend to. Can you just round out the game's unfinished content already? Please, and thank you.

It's not related to Warhammer.

~Very rough, end of the year.

Will????

Do you remember I said you guys have done a great job with Steam reviews after Devil update? :) It's already in production, so it's a matter of time now. No strict ETA, but somewhere closer to the end of the year.

Could this be related to GD update? There was talk among devs for GD getting a rework and this does mention fighting coruption, which is one of themes of GD

Nope, that'll come later :) This is a separate thing.

New WotR content? WoW!

OFC I'm not expecting something huge like new archetypes and the likes, but seeing that WotR is still supported makes me glad!

Archetypes? Who said archetypes? :D

Correct, unfortunately we still don't have the rights.

Is this an ad for the game on the subreddit for the game, for me, an owner of the game?

But anyways yeah this is why I love Pathfinder. Playing Rogue Trader now and finding it even more of a blast because I’m unfamiliar with the system and lore. Love learning new stuff!! Go Owlcat!!

Just a reminder what it is :)

I randomly read this on Wccftech today, and I could barely believe it. It's so great to see that CRPGs can be such a financial success. Owlcat and and Larian are spearheading a new CRPG renaissance, and I am all for it!

Thank you for giving indie RPG developers a chance to realize their passion projects. Must be a great feeling to uplift people who are in the same position that you were once in yourself. Wishing you all the success in the world! 🤞🏻

It's absolutely a great feeling. Thank you!

Well… I feel like this is apples and oranges. Kingmaker is a story based game CRPG. I can’t just play a different game and experience the pathfinder experience & story. It’s like books. You can play many and appreciate them individually.

Millennia is a game like civ and many other games. Its main experience is a sandbox and is fine but like… with its genre so full of games it’s difficult to tell people patience and wait when there are similar games. It’s not like im telling 4x players that they need to play a game for its story. It’s kind of the risk with a sandbox 4x.

I wish Millennia and the dev team the best but they chose a HARD genre to break into.

Of course! But often people enjoy both genres. I do, for example.

They're out of Russia by now, right? They've fully relocated to Malta, Cyprus, or wherever they were moving?

Our offices are at Cyprus and Armenia, yes. And the rest of the team is spread around working remote from over a few dozen countries around the world.

Just be careful of too quick growth. Explosive growth can have explosive consequences.

With that said, great to hear.

We've more or less already passed this stage, retaining both the spirit and the atmosphere =)

Team has grown nearly tenfold since Wrath was released. If something in our approach would change, people would probably already notice :)

While this is exciting news, I do worry that OC is stretching too thin. 4 new games in work, alongside RT support and wotr updates. Now with them being publisher, I worry they'll implode if they can't sustain their 500 employees

This activity is done by the publishing section, that has seen significant growth in the recent couple of years, and will continue to grow. It doesn't interfere with development of our own games.

Hello, friends!

Today, we have exciting news for everyone who loves narrative-driven video games — Owlcat Games is embarking on a new quest to help other studios as a publisher. We will work with teams that share our passion for telling captivating stories through narrative-driven games. Together we want to deliver new, exciting experiences, akin to what we as a studio aim to create ourselves.

After reviewing more than 50 projects, we have signed deals with two talented development teams — Emotion Spark Studio, based in Serbia, and Another Angle Games, based in Poland.

Emotion Spark Studio is working on a narrative RPG called ...
