So the archtypes are linked to buying the DLC? Guess I'll just have to get them then, all very awesome and exciting classes.

Yup, archetypes are a part of DLC content.

Asked elsewhere, but is there any chance that certain companions will be able to be reclassed into a new archetype? The reason I ask is a few of these archetypes seem almost perfect for said characters.

One of the Lich Companions Ciar would honestly be perfect in the Ghost Rider archetype, like it makes a lot of sense to me. And a later game companion, Trever, is practically written to be a Tortured Crusader (albeit his Chaotic Alignment may impact that). Spoiled them in case they are considered spoilers due to their nature in the game, but still wondering if either of these characters can be reclassed into the new archetypes at all?

Definitely not for the DLC. And unlikely at all, because then the main campaign would REQUIRE the DLC for playthrough.

I apologize. There is a 2.2 update that I think the DLC is dependent on. The 2.2 update include the Pearl of Power, I think.

I was curious if the additional archetypes were unlocked by purchasing the DLC or part of the 2.2 update. If unlocked by purchasing the DLC, are they available game-wide or only usable in The Lord of Nothing?

You need to purchase the DLC to unlock the archetypes. If you do so, they will be available both in the Lord of Nothing mini-campaign, and in the main campaign.

to be clear, these Archetypes are only with purchase of Lord of nothing DLC, or are being added to base campaign?
are they useable in base campaign, with purchase?

They are added if you buy the DLC and yes, they are usable in the base campaign.

Do we have to have completed Through the Ashes to play this DLC?

Not necessarily, you can create a fresh character, but of course it'll help you better understand the story.

Hello, I'm sorry this is unrelated but will we get news about the dlc archetypes before release? I'm so excited about it I don't think i can wait lol

And I'm gonna shoot my shot and ask the questions I'm interested in just in case. Will the weretouched shifter be able to switch between forms or do they have to choose one? And can they use weapons/armor while shifted? I'm guessing no, but still wanted to ask.

Yup, an article is coming soon!

This might be a stupid question, but are the new archetypes with the DLC or part of the new update coming out?

Part of the DLC. In the update are the new mythic feats, items, VFX and assassin rework.

Will it be exclusive of Lord of Nothing spinoff campaign, or will it be added in the main game itself?

It's added to vendors and locations across the game. It's not excusive to the DLC (and will appear even for those who don't have the DLC).

It's an early Ember version, yes.

One again, WoTR soundtrack doesn't disappoint!

Will "The Lord of Nothing" have the same "survival" approach of "Trough the Ashes", right?

So less "charge towards every enemy", but a more "indirect" approach to combat

Maybe slightly less than the first part, as the heroes have become a bit more tough since then, but yeah, this approach will be here as well.
