Here is a screenshot:

Also asked a few other people about the dying function and no one has it on Xbox.

Btw, I've seen cloud gameplay from the Switch version. The people are having shadows in the Switch version. On Series X the people shadows completely missing, is this intentional?

Also the invisible wall is still there. And the flickering shadows too. I posted two video about this two issues before the official release data of WotR. Honestly I don't see a difference between the game with day one patch and without the day one patch. The skillbar is still broken when playing turn based (blackened out).

Hope the next patch comes soon :)

EDIT I believe most people don't know about the dying option. I just kno...

Thank you. The patch removed the inactive button for photomode until a further fix (it was already pulled back before release, but the button called "button" in the ESC menu stayed), and I suspect that could be the cause for dye system dropping out too. I've passed the info to the QA team.

Shadows are a part of the same measure as the lower-res textures. Switch version is technically a streamed PC version with controller enabled, it doesn't have the memory problem, so didn't require such measures.

Next patch is already uploading to their servers. Unless the platform delays it again, we may see it later tonight.

PC, specifically Steam. I had ~155 hours in-game without issue before the EE patch.

Please let me know what other information I should provide.

You may probably have a steam overlay binded to that button combination?

This kind person has already said everything.

We're aware of the issue but it's elusive, and so far we haven't been able to find a steady reproduction. If you know a set of actions that 100% lead to this, please record a video and send a link to me please.

Alt + B does nothing, unfortunately, even when held down or attempted multiple times over several minutes. However, the Steam Overlay does pop up when prompted.

Which platform are you on?

Yeah, I've been abusing autosave a lot, mostly before and after every big battle. The worst is when you beat a boss(ie. Just beat Lost Chapel last night) and when your leveling and checking stuff and you hear the "DUNUNUNUNUNUNU------" of the game crashing. Glad to hear y'all are fixing those.

I can imagine how annoying it can be. Sorry that it may take some time to hunt them all down. The team's sitting on fixing non-stop at the moment.

The patch has fixed multiple reasons for those. If you still experience crashes and able to steadily reproduce them at will (do X to get a crash), please tag me.

Elusive crashes that don't repeat at the same spot, are usually results of a memory leak (when something doesn't get unloaded from the memory as it should). We're hunting them one by one with every patch, for now temporary workaround would be saving regularly and relaunching the game from time to time.

Unfortunately we were not able to finish Kingmaker console updates properly due to loss of rights for the game, but it's not a problem with Wrath, we're commited to deliver updates for as long as it is neccessary.

Hello, does it occur often? Also did you find a stable way to reproduce it? ("Doing X and Y leads to this happening". If yes, I'd be grateful if you could record a video and upload it for me.

Well that's good news, I thought it was intended this way. Glad to hear I was wrong and this is just a bug.

Update: I misread your post a bit, thought you'd lose the appearance when deleting the item or keeping it in the chest. That's not the case apparently, so far yes, you need to keep a copy of the gear you want to have an appearance of, to reforge it when you need to replace a piece of gear.

This is the first feedback of such sort regardless, we'll discuss it.

Comment

Sounds like a bug, it shouldn't be required to keep the items. We'll investigate.

Not for 1.0.0.7, as it was expected to release with the game and never intended to have a full list. I don't want to distract the devs now to compose the notes for the older patch. Further patches should have them.

Comment

It's a temporary measure to improve stability at launch. We'll return to this after the launch dust settles.

Update: we get reports that invisible walls in the main square may still be present in some circumstances. Ignore for now, it's a cosmetic issue that should be gone in the next update. We're also already waiting for 1.0.0.9 to deploy.

Did we not even try and load up the switch version in testing? Like, this is basic controls… not a minor bug. The only way it launched like this is with no testing or complete apathy. How did a failure this bad happen?

Unfortunately it doesn't have a 100% occurance rate and seems to have slipped through.

Good news, though: the issue has been found and fixed, now just to wait for the patch to be deployed.

Is there another way to unlock it? The golem doesn't help me here... Should a start a new game? Or is the dying function not in the game?

Hmm. That's new, can you please try starting a new one to check if it has the same issue? Regardless, if it's broken in the main save (or globally), we'll fix it retroactively.

You can record a video on your phone if you like, as long as the quality is decent, that's enough.

Minor incorrect tagging. 1.0.0.9 is landing soon anyway.

1.0.0.7. immediately after starting the game there are still invisible walls just north where you start (near camellia)

Is this still the old build?!

Edit: I have made a video. I have also restarted a new game from scratch. I have restarted the console. Main Menu says I am on 1.0.0.8, Xbox says I am on 1.0.0.7.

It seems to still reproduce in some cases even after the patch. We'll remove it with the next update that should follow quickly.

It's a minor visual issue unique for the first square, shouldn't be a problem after that. Please let me know if any of the other annoying issues from 1.0.0.6 pop up again.
