Doubtful - get in touch with EA Help and lets see if they can get things sorted for you. Be sure to explain to them that this has been an ongoing issue for a while now, and isn't a result of the recent update.

Yeah we had to bump it this week because of the Reports Issue. But we'll help push it more in the future.

This is part of the ongoing issue that's tracked in the pinned post here on the Sub. Expecting that it will get resolved on Tuesday, and after that update has gone live you should find that the next time you rank up, you'll get the throwing knife.
Hi Freeman, thank you for the update! Really appreciate the communication. I've noticed that I'm getting a black screen bug whilst playing since the update, it seems to happen every hour or so. The screen goes black mid-game for 5-10 seconds and then kicks back in. Any chance you could feed it back to the team please?

I'll poke some of the JIRA's on Monday and find out what's happened with this. Likely something we can solve in a Batch Script temporarily, but no promises ('m not technically minded enough to guarantee these types of things!)

will firestorm receive major updates in the future?
i do not wish to see firestorm die, but this game mode now also has bugs since the new update
for example:
-healing/armouring up happens instantly upon selection
-no 'squad wiped' notification
-when whole squad is down, they'll all remain revivable until shot dead, before update if all squad members got shot down, all members died and the game was lost

Any issues introduced as a result of 6.2 in Firestorm will be investigated and actioned as responsibly as we can.
Makes sense, thanks for explaining it for us! Love the new ttk/btk for 6.2, makes it a little more exciting after 730h of gameplay. My only issue is it's pointless to use recon after the update due to the new slinky mechanics of the spawn beacon. Please fix whatever happened with it!
