There's new core game modes and the new map still to come this Chapter. Expect the FS challenges to lessen as we go on.

Next week there's 0 FS specific challenges (some Grind Specific challenges, but pretty open about what modes you go), and then only 1 FS challenge (optional node) the week after.

Talk to me about the Vehicle Controls stuff. Which platform you on, what you experiencing?

Nothings Duo specific for Tides of War this week.

New challenges go live in 20 minutes or so. There's a lot of Firestorm in there this week, but we've still maintained a path after the first Node where folks who'd rather play straight up BFV can clean through it fairly easy for the Fire Axe.

Node 1 requires placing in the last 32 of a Firestorm game otherwise.

In the very least, expect much faster communication from us on these types of things going forward. If the collective playerbase is happy with how Duos is balanced and we're seeing the same thing on our end in the data, we will make sure that this is heard, and we will come back to talk to you all more about it.

Today we’re introducing Duo to Firestorm. It’s available in game for you to play right now.

It’s our first time putting Duo out into the wild having started work on the mode much later in Firestorms development. We love it, and we think it’s a great addition to the game, but we recognize best that we’re better hearing that from you, and we’d appreciate your support in helping to make it a strong addition to Firestorm, and Battlefield V.

We’re making it available until 10am UTC on Monday 15th April, at which point we’ll come back to you all to ask how you found the experience. Did it change the pacing of the games for you? Did it cause for hotter drops? Were you enjoying it as much as Solos and Squads? Were you primarily playing with Randoms, or Squadding with a friend, and how did each of those two matchmaking types change things for you with the experience?

I mean....technically speaking, your next matchmakee is probably someone who is burning outside the circle in solos so.....yes?

It's good feedback for me to share with the gang. The way it currently works is that its looking for active servers close to your area. Given that it's Midnight Sunday night your time and that this is a fresh mode, it's just going to take an hour or so for populated servers to spin up, and as people start going to bed on the West Coast, that will likely push you toward your next closest region.

I imagine that this will completely smooth out for you as the game cycles folks in.

Reddits always going to be a great way to gauge folks passion on any given topic. We're sensitive to how easy it is to misinterpret that passion, and apply it as the mass will of all players and so this stuff is always well balanced with other forms of feedback.

Wouldn't say it's a nuisance, it's just part and parcel of modern gaming communities.

I appreciate OP's willingness to speak up on what they enjoy as much as everyone else voicing their feelings.

I’d need to check in with the team on this next week, but before I do help me understand your overall concern. Is it that you want the option to only play the mode solo and are worried that you will have to squad up to play it?

Forgive me! Was typing on my iPhone and finding that the user flow is a bit funky compared to Relay Pro on Android (usual app of choice! Thanks for saying so!)

Edit: Just discovered that the user flow for the iPhone Official Reddit app has Add Comment on an inbox message which doesn’t actually reply to the thread. I’ve lost the original reply in the comments here but this was in response too ‘Will Rush Come back’?

I personally expect so, though the team have only just retired it this week from its present rotation and I doubt they have had the chance yet to do a proper sit down and decide what’s next for rush. We always said that if the Mode was popular then we’d always be open to bringing it back and building on it.
