Pastrytime getting involved with shoulder content is awesome. His series where he did historic plays and went in depth on players was soo good (can’t remember the name but it was along w the masterminds and the meteos show). Can’t wait to see what he’s cooking up.

Yeah, Lost isn't ever going to be playing for the main roster but he's certainly better than most academy ADC's and if their goal is to have a competent scrim roster to play against internally, the academy roster makes full sense. I'm also more hopeful for Fakegod in this environment, though I doubt he'll excel too much further considering how long he has been around.
Maybe I'm just at maximum copium at this point but I'm a big fan of Lost and him being in the C9 hyperbolic time chamber gives me hope for his future.
I think his ceiling is really high, but sadly he's never really proved it at the LCS level and maybe never will.
I'll always cheer for Lawrence though. He's the OG Aussie import for the LCS.

Just gonna hijack this to say thank you. Way back in 2013, the very first pro game I watched of League was GSG vs CJ Entus NLB Winter finals, game 5, with the legendary jungle/push Heimer comp. Your excitement during that game convinced me to download the game in the first place, and check out some other pro scenes. As you can see, I'm still here. Regardless of where you end up, I wish you the best, and hope you find a way to stay involved in the community.

My only LCS final on record, but it sure was a banger.
Might be unpopular opinion but Pastry is one of my favorite PBP casters. His delivery might not be as 100% clean as it could be but the hype he brought to some of my favorite competitive moments is overshadowed by only a select few.
My favorite moment of his has to be the final 15 seconds of game 5 of WE vs C9 at worlds 2017 Quarterfinals.

That line in particular never fails to give me chills and I find myself rewatching that specific clip every now and then just for the hype.
I'm actually terrible at remembering my calls but someone on Twitter (might've been you tbh) brought this one that I'd forgotten to my attention and it's genuinely one of the closers I'm most proud of.
The wildest thing was I was racking my brains for what on earth I'd say if C9 pulled off the historic upset for the whole series that I almost forgot to think about a line for the other team so I think this one I thought of almost right before the game ending play.

Mark was one of my favourite people to cast with and I've cast with a LOT of different people over the years. I think probably more than anyone else actually, certainly at international.

Why did Danny get into such a mode? Not trying to diss him or anything, but I don't remember the community heavily flaming him.
He's an 18 year old kid in a job with high pressure and high scrutiny that he's been in for less than a year and a half after just finishing high school.
Being in the spotlight is mentally taxing enough, now imagine you're the same person you were at 18 and it seems fairly straightforward what the reasons might be.
For all I care though, I just want him to take his time and be ready to play again. It's a shame he might not play at Worlds this year, but it'd be even worse to never see a player this obviously talented play again.
You're goated pastry. Always see you in these threads where you no doubt see some select people dumping on you/your friends and coworkers. Yet despite all of that, you continue to have amazing interviews, casts, and even content production for the LCS. You always give off a strong and charismatic vibe during your screentime, thank you pastry!

- Compared to other play-by-plays I hear less ability names mentioned
- Compared to other pbp I feel a lack of energy or maybe excitement?

I can defs be a bit inconsistent with energy and I'm aware of that but I believe I've gotten a lot better at that, my last Bo5 in the LCS esp I was very happy with the range I hit as I've certainly overcorrected and been too excited at times as well.
Ability names is an interesting callout, I didn't know that was something people even liked hearing more of. Often I'll hit ultis, but I used to try and hit too many names and it would clutter my casting and I'm already hard to understand at the best of times when talking quickly.
Not unreasonable pieces of feedback though, I'll take 'em with me into Worlds this year.
