u/Psyonix_devin we really need some clarification on this. It would a real shame to purchase a ticket and attend the event only to miss out on the wheel because of the vendor we went through.

Like say if we emailed you our ticket, recieve the code through email after the event or something.

There are lots of tickets on resale through stub hub because the events sold out and people want to sell the tickets above list price. We shouldn't be punished because of online scalping.

As I said below: Every blog post, social post, and other official mention has pointed to the Ticketmaster page for this event. Here's the original "on sale" blog post, which links to the Ticketmaster page twice.

Every blog post, social post, and other official mention has pointed to the Ticketmaster page for this event. We've always said Ticketmaster was the official ticket provider.

First off...huge improvement.

But does anyone know if people that went through StubHub still going to get the wheels?

FYI, the only official ticket provider is Ticketmaster. If you buy through another service like StubHub or SeatGeek, there are no guarantees.

Siiick!

When we initially announced the in-game item that Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) World Championship attendees would receive, we believed that we had released a Wheel the community would love to have on their Battle-Cars. Based on the feedback we've gathered over the last week, we realized the Ninja Pro Wheels didn't live up to the standards our attendees expected. In short—we hear you.

That's why we went back to the drawing board and came up with a new design that we believe better captures the World Championship experie...

This is also witchhunting, IIRC.

You must censor player IDs to avoid witch-hunting. Screenshots/videos/clips showing toxic behaviour in game or through messages are not allowed.

He posted about his own behaviour.

Since he admitted it, it is not "witch-hunting", is it?

How do you know the Steam acct you're linking to belongs to OP?

how do we know that OP owns the Steam account being linked to in the above comment

I didn't say I knew the Steam acct I linked belonged to OP.

What part of me saying "Please look into the trading history " was unclear?

"We", as in me and xaiel420, cannot be sure.

You are a f**king developer. Why are you asking if we can be sure? YOU CAN INVESTIGATE AND FIND OUT.

He posted about his own behaviour.

Great, except they did not include any sort of user ID or account name in their post. You did, breaking Rule 6, and you included the wrong account. The Steam account you linked to doesn't even own Rocket League, or at the very least has never logged into our servers (and in order to complete a trade, you need to connect to our servers). Couching your post in "You should look into trade history..." doesn't change the fact that it's witch-hunting when you post someone else's account information.

The fact that you linked to an unrelated account -- exposing that accounts unique user ID -- is one of the main reasons why Rule 6 exists.

I read OP's post, but how do we know that OP owns the Steam account being linked to in the above comment? Sharing a username =/= same user.

That's interesting. You get banned the NEXT time you log into RL for something that may have happened weeks ago.

Correct, if a ban is issued after you end a session, it will begin when a new session begins (the next time you play).
