Plot Twist: after some investigation, the team found that this art was used game-side and was not available to be collected as a cosmetic loading screen. Did anyone have this as their active screen in the last year? If so, what platform were you on? Definitely a loved screen, so happy to poke this a bit more.

Known issue, added to Trello. Team is investigating a potential workaround while a fix is in progress. Will keep you posted. Only EA App on PC is currently impacted.
Team is working on this now and testing a potential workaround to assist in the meantime. As someone else mentioned, this is only impacting the EA App variant.

Known issue that seems to be limited to PS5. Some folks have been able to workaround this by installing the PS4 variant of the game: steps here.

Chiming in to echo this + add the dev reply flair to hopefully catch some others who are curious. This recolor release is intentional and it went live alongside the Lunar New Year sale instead of an event.

None of the answers on the list you must select from "where did the issue occurred" pertains to begin in the Firing Range. I also have no idea if it can occur outside of the firing range.

Hey Mr Thieamy, do you think it could potentially be a possibility for older loading screens like this to ever be obtained in the future? Maybe in a reward shop, or unlockable with crating tokens or maybe even as a potential item in the hotdrop store whenever it eventually comes back? I’m a rampart main and i would loooooooove to add this to my collection 🔥 I don’t think I was around whenever this was offered as a reward.

35 is the marker for dead weight?!? I didn't get the memo. Early thirties, been playing since the drop, now on the dev team - where I've played with a wide range of ages. No such thing as too old for Apex or gaming in general.
Read moreI had a similar glitch but it was for every item and it affected the whole lobby. Basically, any item couldn't be picked up. Every time I opened my inventory, it would instantly close. Couldn't equip/pick up attachments. Also happened on world's edge like the clip, it was ranked. There wasn't any lag or anything like that, if that's important.
People could pick up guns. Couldn't pick armor, ammo couldn't be picked up but later in the match it could be. I couldn't grab a partial stack of ammo, like I couldn't get 20 bullets but I could get a stack. The same instant-closing happened with loba's ult. I know it happened to the whole lobby because a lot of people who I killed had no attachments on their guns even to the top 5 squads.
Eventually, attachments began to partially work. You could pick them up but not if they were the same type of attachment. For example, I couldn't get a blue light mag if I already had a white one. If I removed the white one, then I could equ...
Cheers for this - do you recall which Legend you were playing and weapons you had? May sound odd, but even the smallest details could help.
OP or anyone have any additional clips or details on this? Team is trying to reproduce this to look into it further.
I’ve had the issue before the patch and still have it now. No aim assist in match and only sometimes on dummy’s in the range. I’m on PC
