That’s very strange. Do you have (or could get) a video of this? We previously implemented a system to prevent this exact thing from happening, but it sounds like it’s no longer working.

Do you have the waypoint to the Shining Cove in the desert? After killing the boss there should be a questionmark at the edge of the ship to the north for you to jump off it. If not then we need to figure out a way to handle this quest better.
Were you transformed when you put the point in? Could you try and respec that point, check your crit avoidance, then put the point back in?
It’s possible it’s not actually working, but could you try equipping the sword before transforming into Swarmblade and see if you get the +5% crit chance?
So there is in fact a stash in the eternity cache room that you can use. You can still only craft 1 legendary per run though.
As Llama said, it was intended for the boss to drop a unique and an exalted item that go together so you could make a legendary. But it didn’t make it in and we’re still discussing it.

We are aware that this will limit beastmasters in the short term, but in the long term we are gonna look at beastmaster again specifically. Especially the old companion trees and totems. We might do some small changes to passive trees this patch that will affect beastmasters positively.
Unfortunately no, the way we have made the roots with animation and VFX didn’t lend them to be increased in size. However it might be something we can look at in the future if we find a good solution for it.
We are changing the wording to say “wraps around” since it doesn’t really make sense to immobilize something that is already immobile
Shaman won’t be the focus this patch, but we will very likely buff totems in general.
