is there going to be a fix for the game not even loading on xbox? i sat in the loading screen for 40 minutes and nothing happened

The Network Problem in the top right is probably related. Hit registration is server authoritative, so if traffic regularly gets dropped, you might already be dead server side.
There's a couple graphs/text stats in the Stats menu that can show you if you're dropping packets.
If you're regularly seeing that Network Problem indicator, it's probably worth troubleshooting (ex. trying things like a wired ethernet connection instead of wifi).

Yep. Tracers can be a bit confusing. They visualize the path of the bullet, but they're delayed. Sometimes this is misleading.
The bullet travels instantly and hit registration is checked on the frame it was fired.
I haven’t played pc in so long I wasn’t aware they were on a different patch.
We plan for console/pc to be on the same patch! This mismatch was an instance of us still working through a few hiccups in our process and tools while in beta.

EDIT, FIXED: Thanks to Riot commenting below, the solution was to completely disable my antivirus. Adding val & vangaurd didn't work in my case but disabling it did.
