I like the main points but dislike how the top content covers most of the ui so you can only see 4 items at most at the same time.
You should be able to see a bit more than that when it's live in client. Probably my bad for not having the best pictures to show it off.
Let me know what you think when it's live in the client and if that thought/feeling is still true.
Does this affect the pool of what sort of "accessories" are available (like real old events), or is it just content that's been in the mythic shop before? Will Riot put out a list of what content is in these category pools?
So it's the content that was in it before, and we added some of the old event chromas into it. We're working on adding some of the icons that were associated to them too.
We're looking for suggestions on what all past content we should bring into it so would love to know what you want to see specifically!
I don't know if we could easily present a list of what all content is available in each pool, but I'll definitely take that ask back to the team.

Doesn't the current mythic shop cause each skin to increase in price every time it rotates through? If that is still the case the mythic shop update will cause them to increase even more.
I am assuming all skins are set at a 150 mythic essence price going by the pic from the article.
We actually killed that whole price increasing system awhile back. It wasn't clear to you and it was hard for us to track it and keep it accurate. All Prestige skins in the shop are just 150 ME now and the price doesn't change.
We're actually changing Sudden Death in the next patch to not burn down the Nexus, so you'll be happy to know that won't be happening again soon. You should see it in the patch notes tomorrow™
Not many games were reaching the state where the burn down of Sudden Death would be what ends the game, so we're comfortable with this trade off of sometimes having a match go a little bit longer than intended but actually having a good climactic end.
Some other users have pointed it out but yes you should still be able to reroll duplicate emotes for other non-legacy/event emotes as those specifically are not rerollable. That's been the case for awhile now at least.
If that's not what you're talking about then please let me know and I can have the right folks look into it as we haven't made any changes to how that should be working.
It's just playing games, playing nice, and getting honored. Others have pointed it out already but playing with a friend and honoring each other every game actually doesn't impact your honor level much at all. So you shouldn't expect any result from just doing that.

I could never have this level of self restraint. I decide to open a box in any game in the first .03 seconds it hits my inventory.
Real talk: None of our changes for this year should impact the contents of the chests you showed here nor the content in your inventory at all. There's also no changes to what is currently in the reroll pool before or after season start. (Remember to always check /dev articles and patch notes for any specific callouts on content eligibility in the reroll pool)

What is the timeframe for that? Like can I still get the skin if I get honor level 5 in July for example?
With our current plans if you miss Shen in the shop and if you hit honor level 5 this coming July, you would be fine and get Shen.
We have a target date for these changes but we don't want to communicate them just yet because things can change. Keep an eye out for patch notes as these things are rolling through and we'll keep yall updated.

The milestones on the pass effectively make it so that the next milestone after the skin, should be its border. So technically it’s not impossible to have one and not the other, but it’s like…right there. 😂
(Except the prestige, that’ll have the icon and border in the same milestone)
The only thing changing here is the whole token redemption element.
Borders in the paid pass correspond to skins also in the paid pass. So that scenario where you have a border but not the skin should be impossible.
(Unless some really weird bug happens and if so, report that)
