Sorry this part of the experience is unclear. We're working on making it better. If you queue up for the tournament and you're the only team in queue when the queue ends, you automatically win and we grant the rewards manually usually in the following week.

You cannot :( Unless the top five players on your team have the same average mmr from the start of the season, you won't be able to invite anyone new to the team (even players who left 1s ago). This is an unfortunate pain point that we're hoping to address soon, but I'd suggest not removing players from your roster after you've played your first match. We know this absolutely sucks and we're hoping to improve it soon.

If you're the only person in queue for your division, you won't get a tournament but we'll grant winner rewards for you in the week following.

Which zone and division? Practice matches or season matches?
This is a limitation of the current system :( we know it's not great and we have plans to fix this. We're trying to find the right time to fix this the right way instead of a bandaid fix. Essentially your team is seeded off your competitive rank so if your team continues to play in compet you won't reseed into the same division regardless of if you have the same players.
So with premier starting today we just found out we are promoted to Contenders so I’m guessing there is a feature that allows this. For future reference this should be addressed clearer for the community.
We manually move teams to help with division health prior to your division locking in. This most commonly happens with contender but it can happen in any division in smaller zones. This can result in both promotions and demotions. There isn't a mechanism to promote teams based on their performance in past seasons.
When we get closer to connecting Premier to the pro leagues there will be more communication to ensure its clear to teams how they can climb if they want to go pro.
All valid feedback. Teams are re-seeded based on mmr each stage which can result in promotions and demotions (but there's no explicit promotion mechanism). We're working on our promise to connect Premier to the path to pro and part of that will include a promotion mechanism but I can't speak to how that'll work yet.
We're also not satisfied with seeding teams off compet mmr because it causes problems like not being able to see how you're being seeded and can cause issues like not being able to reinvite someone that was on your team 1s ago. Can't make promises yet, but we're aware and agree it could be better.

You'll receive the crest for the last team you were eligible for.
There's a bug were tracking where the drop-down defaults to your current conference but loads the first conference in the drop-down. Switch your conference to another and back again and it'll show you the correct conference with your team.
We're looking to eventually reduce the likelihood of playing the same teams repeatedly.
That said, practice matches are mostly meant to provide a reliable way for the team to get in practice games on the map of the week. Currently, you'll play against teams in the same division and zone but we relax a lot of the other matchmaking requirements to optimize for finding practice matches quickly which might lead to playing the same teams repeatedly.

The best way to fix this is to contact player support immediately after the season ends and you didn't receive your rewards. I'll take a look and see what I can do.
We're cookin' pretty hard on continuing to improve the Premier experience and we're still thinking of ways to show off your team's accomplishments (crests is one such example). Love seeing this kind of feedback. Glad you're enjoying Premier.
You should eventually get unlocked from the tournament. Did the bracket eventually update or did you get caught in some weird state? What's your riot id, I wanna take a look at your tournament and see if anything weird happened.

Unfortunately the Emporium is tied to monetization and the past few years have burned away pretty much any and all goodwill players have in that area. Just look at the thread about KenAdamsNSA moving to something new. It paints a pretty clear picture of how players feel about this area, and it's not positive. There are also a lot of sentiment as to how...honest (or more accurately dishonest) players feel he has been.
So it's not just what people think about Riot, it's what they think about the monetization area of Riot. And those thoughts are very, very negative. So I appreciate that you're taking time to comment here, but you have a very uphill battle ahead of you.
Make a post. If players feel this way give them a voice, but that wasn't the message I got from the original post. I could be wrong though.
First let me caveat this by saying I'm a Software Engineer at Riot Games, but I don't work directly on League and I don't have the context to know exactly why "the Emporium is built, tested, and shipped in a... not so great way that takes astronomically more work than any reasonable person would fathom."
