This is why we need to keep you miners busy between missions.

Playing any game too much will burn you out. Take a break. Play something else. Pop back when you feel the itch or when next Season releases!

Management wishes you a pleasant vacation, Miner.

This is like when a certain wargame has classified military documents posted on their forums.

This is confidential RnD material, Miner! Remain where you are, we are sending some Friends to ask a few Questions.

Btw I can't wait for rogue core though, I'm pretty sure I'm not alone with that

We hope to live up to the hype. ^^

Your original estimate would still put DRG in the "worth it" category for me, but it's since exceeded its value by several orders of magnitude, probably becoming one of my most played games ever, in what has to be record time. I'm at something like 150 hours right now, and I haven't even been playing for a full year just yet (I joined at the tail end of last year's anniversary- slightly too late to grab all the goodies, but not too late to pass out drunk off free Oily Oafs multiple times) That pales compared to the OP, sure, but for me, who hasn't taken but two games past, say, 250 hours in the last decade- pretty solid. Worth every penny, and more- only made sense to buy my best friend a copy. And most of the DLCs...

One day I'm gonna send you guys some Belgian Beers, so you can enjoy the real life equivalent of a blackout stout. You've earned that shit

Doing our best, Miner! And I have never known a belgian beer I did not like. :D

Some might claim I'm a little biased, but I think the game's pretty good. :>

dont expect anything they're focused on drg rogue

We are indeed focused on Rogue Core - and on DRG. We can be (and are) doing both. When and if DRG actually goes into this "maintenance mode" I hear bandied around, you will hear it from us, on official channels, not from rumors - and there are no plans to do so at this point.

Our Seasons so far have been paired on purpose - 1 & 2 were connected, and 3 & 4 were connected. And they have never been intended as major game overhauls - if that's what you hope for, then you will likely keep being disappointed.

How about new gameplay loops and proper content ? Don’t wanna bitch but damn waiting until summer for a content patch is kinda insane.

Seasonal events like this are comparatively small tasks, so we try to pepper them inbetween new seasons, rather than leave you with nothing at all. That said, we're confident our upcoming content will be worth the wait.

And as others point out, if the base game doesn't do it for you any longer and the only thing keeping you around is new content, other games are available - I've heard a rumor about some kind of new diving game in Hell? It's supposedly great fun. You can always come back when the new season does drop, if you still feel like it at that point. DRG isn't meant to be a chore to play.

We told you Miners to go outside once in a while. We didn't mean to just start fighting on the surface! That said - For Democracy!

I trust you are aware Management does not pay for overtime, Miner.

(That said, the next round is on me. Just do not tell anyone.)

Been taking a break from Reddit, but a great joy brought me back! That's what I'm talking about, Miner! Rock and Stone!

I recall when we started prototyping DRG way back, and we agreed that keeping people playing for maybe 25 hours would be a great victory - so ey, I'd say 600 hours ain't a bad run! Hope to see you back at some point, Miner - but otherwise Rock and Stone!
