The multiple governments is an extension of the current system in a future patch, i guess Cat Supremacist just mixed that up as what he said is correct for what we plan.

Yep, thats intended. For mining, there is upgraded machinery available to improve this instead of modules.

Eco is a continous game development. Of course there will be a version 1.0 that ends Early Access, but major changes will be coming forever - just like in MMOs.

No, it's our choice of game design to which respeccing is very detrimental. Of course you can always create a mod for it.

This is a known issue that we're working on identifying the cause of. We currently cannot reproduce it. Are you all using widescreen monitors?

You don't need to wipe, if you don't want to. Some Updates will always require a wipe when specific changes are made - this can be expected for full release as well, as Eco will be continously developed after EA as well. Keep in mind Eco is made for 30 day cycles. You can always stay on a old version as well :)

It's a rather low priority feature, hence I doubt it'll be this year.

Looks like broken configs. Remove the config directory and have steam verify files.

Because you do need paper for some recipes and removing stuff that will be fixed eventually just takes useless development time and has the chance to introduce bugs you can avoid by simply keeping it as is.

Have you updated to 9.2.1 and selected the fitting result with the gear icon?

There will be multiple sizes of boats, but not necessarily all of them released at the same time.
