You can do that with the law system, but there is no config for it.

The normal wood sign is a deprecated item - you can no longer craft it, that's why it doesn't say where it can be crafted. Try one the ~ 20 other signs that replaced it :)

Cloud Worlds is still in alpha and only available for dev tier backers. It's main purpose is for schools. It's pretty much a server with monthly access licenses for players - so the server owners pay per month per player.

When SLG Todd ran the server it was very similar to what it is now with no mod intervention, so it was true sandbox "chaos" in the best sense you can put it to Eco. So if you had a bad egg (besides bannable offenses of course) then the only way to deal with them was as the community, just like you guys intended :) so much fun though

Ah, those servers are not related. I just decided to take the name of it.

It must all be of a certain material and the newer the table you build the newer the material you need to build your structure out of for it to work.
The game can still be fun but if you want how it used to be the best is a low collab server and even then you may not have much fun as you'll hit road blocks for certain skills and how ...

There has been unexpected maintenance that required a DNS change as well, stuff should be working as normal in less than 24 hours for everyone again. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I'd suggest contacting the admin. Seems like a network issue on their side.

Our Wiki has pages on each sign, you can find them via search: https://wiki.play.eco/en/index.php?title=+Special%3ASearch&search=sign&go=Go

They explain where each sign can be made and what it costs.

There has been maintenance yesterday and a change of DNS servers, so stuff can be a bit unstable currently. Sorry for that!

Huh, Coast Redwood hasn't been the anarchy server at a time? That's new to me, it was made for that purpose :)

We already have this warning when putting in a specialization star - since Update 8.0 when respeccing was removed ;)

If an Admin really wants the possibility to respec people they can use a mod for that. Most of the commands we have are dev commands and made for what we need internally - and we have no use for such a command, nor any other desire to introduce one as we do not want to encourage people to respec.

I get your opinion on the pre-setup, but we will have to agree to disagree there. The intention of Eco is exactly that to be played out in game with all the consequences you see - they are intended gameplay. You're just skipping a major part of the game.

Big servers do it as progression there is extremely faster and the much higher user count linked with concepts these servers often have due to them being online for countless repeated cycles require it. They often make a government system before the game even starts via Discord based on their exp... Read more

The issue is the baker doesn't need anything from the cooker to reach the next tier. Its not bakers and cookers working together. Its bakers have all the power to advance to the next tier and cookers are left out needing the bakers help.

The advance cooking skill book requires a baker to make

the advance baking skill book also only requires a baker to make.

If cooking skill unlocked something that bakers needed to unlock advance baking I would get that and be fine with it.

There is no reason to pick cooking ever if you want to advance the cooking skill tree.

The plan is that both professions are interlocked. I've been quite sure that this is actually the case in the progression tree. I'll have balance team a look in case something got lost. But if changes were to come, they would make it more interlocked, not less as you requested.

Yes, you got 15 when there still was a single world leader. As players can now make their own and a unlimited number of offices with different powers, this is no longer the case.

It works like a ZigBee Network, producers and consumers extend the network.

The first is planned and should be implented soon.
The second is intended. You're not supposed to waste a star, but to trade ;)

I'm not aware of any way to do this, unfortunately.
