Avatars are saved on your local computer. The avatar you used when first joining a server stays with it forever, as long as you login with the same account. The new avatar made on a second PC will hence not override or change your player on a server you already joined.

Die Framerate in Eco ist im Hauptbildschirm auf 20 limitiert - aus genau diesem Grund. Anscheinend überschreibt dein Treiber diese Einstellung, wir können dieses Problem leider nicht reproduzieren.

Hey Citizens,
we have just released Hotfix 10.0.4 to address the following issues:

General:
  • Fixed: Under specific circumstances it was possible to place blocks outside of the allowed height limits, breaking the savegame and leading to a black screen with HUD for all players on the server
  • Fixed: Using the "Approve all" function for pictures deleted all pictures that were supposed to be approved
  • Fixed: Approving a picture that was already approved deleted the picture
Civics:
  • Fixed: It was possible to override the permission to transfer properties outside of law jurisdiction
  • Fixed: Laws that use "Citizen Timer" were able to affect players outside of law jurisdiction
Server:
  • Fixed: A memory leak related to room calculations
  • Fixed: An issue that could cause the server to lo...

My server admins were saying the extra range was causing server crashes and with this restart we did it certainly is more stable server side.

No - the setting specifically mentions that raising it can cause severe performance impact and instability, especially when the increase is not only marginal.

They are all documented when using the Server UI.

You can also support it with public restroom buildings. Many more options will be added over the next updates.

This is a bug that is addressed in the next hotfix scheduled for this week.

This current run we're doing is vanilla for the most part. Next run I'll definitely be adding in mods and an already in place government to help combat this problem. A tax on all sales and a rebate for all buys is quite effective. This way people that have a near 50/50 buy/sell amount will not be taxed as much as people that only sell things. These large groups often only ever sell and have very few buy orders.

If you ask thomasfn (the dev) nicely, you may get the development builds - they already exist, White Tiger which the mod originally was made for had the mod active through the whole playtest. It has a few rough edges still, though. Some of them may need changes on our side, though. The mod also is open source, so maybe you can acquire them yourself as well.

What does the embassy table show? Is the homestead surrounded by town influence and not part of a different town?

That's in the Immigration Table.

The Embassy Desk is the correct one for annexations.

Homesteads not part of the town are not considered to be in influence, laws don't apply there.

I sometimes use them to test mods, but apart from that I don't think there is a single dev command I've used for my server of 4 years.

With that said; you can use them if your account has dev tier or you enable them via a EM.Framework permission group.

Nothing more needs to be said :)

Yes, via the hammer move feature.

Queues are a feature that a multiplayer server must explicitly enable - we have nothing to do with that at all. You'd need to reach out to the server owner to check about that or find a server without a queue / sufficient free room.

Yes, they are built 2009 (iirc) and don't support today's common instruction sets.

There is a multitude of factors, we're assessing the reviews and address feedback where we can over the next weeks:

1. We had a overload on our backend servers at release (though people were understanding for that mostly) and multiple malicious DDoS attacks on our services afterwards (which they were not as much) during holiday time, while at the same time not used to deal with such issues. Fixing hence took a few hours at the first outage.

The reason the game doesn't work without active backend servers in singleplayer is simply that the game has no dedicated singleplayer. When you create or load a local world you start the same dedicated server any server hoster does and that one does check your authorization when joining. With the system we currently have in place it is not possible to allow offline play, even if we wanted to do so. Of course the license check could be removed, but that would mean anyone could play without buying the game by just downloading t... Read more

We are also working on a workaround-fix, there is a branch "old_hardware_test_1" that does seem to remedy the problem for most people with this issue. We cannot include the fix in the general game release until we're back in full force to do some performance testing, though, as the fix can affect performance of people with normal cpus.

You are correct about the technical details. Unity intends to fix the problem with choosing a correct instruction set themselves, but as usual it is unknown when that may be the case. It's not going to be anytime soon, though.

Deleting files does always happen on your own risk, though. You will not receive any support for that.

Our widescreen support unfortunately is pretty bad currently, it's on our list for when we can get to issues with non-critical or high priority.

You can see servers you have favourites in "Your Worlds" menu. Servers that don't exist anymore won't get displayed, though.
