Coast Redwood has minimal rules, Giant Panda and Sea Otter have some rules especially on government usage, Dusky Robin has the same rules as Giant Panda and Otter but runs for extended time and White Tiger is a community-server like experience with lots of presetup.

Rules are noted in F1 and hinted at before joining and at joining. Game Masters are community volunteers - they are allowed to play on the servers in off-duty mode, but it is only typical for them to do on White Tiger.

We try to make all savegames from 9.7 migrate, but any incompatible stuff will simply be deleted. We strongly recommend to start a new savegame to avoid that and have all changes to worldgeneration as well.

Yea, I never understood that, cut out the first bit of the game then wonder why servers only last two weeks…

Actually servers with premade government tend to last longer, as they are mostly concept community servers. So there is no relation to that. See White Tiger.

It's the same with a pre-made server-wide currency, it just removes a large portion and progression from the game.

If you want to play the game as intended, go with allowing natural formation of towns, countries and federations.

Just wanting to note something here:
Eco is a framework. Server admins providing customized experiences to try out, including with some kind of presetup is not unintended.

No, the maximum height is depending on world size and cannot be altered.

Correct. It's for "public restrooms" and needs to follow the bathroom category, as for housing.

It shows in the cultural room bonuses.

You can find all objects classified for bathrooms in the Ecopedia. Bathtub, Sink and Toilet are some of them.

Depends on what the players like and how much ability they have to determine things within a pre-defined government framework.

GeForce Now with native Steam integration requires support for Steam Cloud, which Eco due to it solely working via dedicated servers doesn't have. Hence for the forseeable future there is unfortunately no way to do so.

Pictures and some bathroom objects in the settlement foundation property or a cultural property at the border, yes.

No, but note that migrating from these versions to the final release is not supported and that the playtest branch is solely developed with the respective official playtest server in mind - migrations between playtest updates are not supported, updates may happen whenever the official server needs them and you may be left with a unusable save at any time, as the official server is developer supervised and may get fixed not in the updates.

You may already have noticed by now - everyone likes pretty different to opposite things when playing Eco. The art is more making the different wants compatible with each other, that's what good server admins tend to do.

I for myself prefer playing on servers with meteor (and not long-term), at least a starting currency, but even better some kind of government framework right from the start. I just don't like bartering and want to get into politics as soon as possible :)

Sea Otter and White Tiger are the names of official servers that currently serve as servers for playtests and have their own build beta branches on Steam, next to Coast Redwood, Giant Panda and Darwin's Fox. They are named after endangered species, with the special name for White Tiger signalling it working a bit different.

That is a currently known bug that will be resolved in an Update later this day.

I think there is multiple community made pricing calculators doing that, they should be linked in our Discord.

That feature would not make sense, as the economy depends totally on the economic setup of each server. A feature to copy prices is no help, as prices aren't the same on different servers. Has nothing to do with basic math operators.
