You guys just owning that typo, huh?

It's not a typo - at least not ours. We took it from the menu of a restaurant near our office when we still had one, so the typo was always intended :)

Hey Citizens,
Eco offers a wide variety of food items from different regions of the world that players can craft - have you ever wondered how those would look like on a table?

Let's find out - our art team has been cooking up some 3D food for Update 9.6!

We already have discussed that in the past and decided to not do it for solely technical reasons, the suggestion is still on the tracker though, in case that ever changes.

That is not possible nor supported. You could try to edit the savegame manually if you know what you do, but a lot of things are interdependant and deleting it from the database likely leads to the save corrupting.

Renaming isn't supported either, but you can do so with the /objects edit command by addressing a citizen. Executing the command will usually lead to an immediate crash, in most cases the server boots up fine though with the changed name. Sometimes it works without a crash, then you need to do a restart manually. I won't give any more details though, as that is not supported and dangerous.

That issue was fixed in 9.5.3, it is not retroactive, though, e.g. if the issue had appeared in that save already, it won't work. When you start a new save and still experience the issue, feel free to open a bug report with as much details as possible and reproduction steps, it was a hard to track down issue already reported in Playtest for 9.5, hence without that reproduction data there is nothing we can do.

Shopcarts are not planned to behave like vehicles once their 'store is opened', they are supposed to be static objects then.

That is a known issue, but not related to your original report.

Hey Eco Citizens,
today we release Update 9.5.4 addressing a regression in the last update in regards to filters, thanks for reporting!

Fixed: It was not possible to select multiple entries in civic and work party filters.

Are both claimed?

Update 9.5.3 introduced a regression while fixing another related issue that broke this, we're already working on a fix.

We have mentioned in the changelog introducing the config option and the server ui at the configuration variable directly that increasing the stockpile distance multiplier is EXTREMELY taxing on performance. Given you said you have a high multiplier for that, this will very likely be the cause of the issues you experience. Our recommendation is to not touch it at all, and if so, only minimal.

There is no such option in the vanilla game and we do not have plans to introduce one either, but Kyes EM-Admin mod has that functionality, so you might want to take a look at that. Last time I tried it, it was a bit wonky, but it did work: https://eco.mod.io/elixr-mods-features-pack

Given confusing answers were given:
If you just have people invited as residents to your hotel, they cannot remove furniture that you placed there, that is only possible if they have authorization on the deed additionally to being a resident.

Unfortunately not.

That has two reasons:
1) Steam Workshop does not allow mods to be distributed for server applications, only for actual games - all Eco mods are by design server-sided though. That would mean that installation of mods would only work for the bundled Eco Server in singleplayer, which forfeits the purpose. Server administrators would still have to get the files manually somewhere (and Steam has lately shut down pages that allow Workshop downloads via web) and install them manually - offering zero benefit through the workshop, making it more difficult, actually. I experienced that problem myself a few times, for example with Starbound, that suffers from the same problem, if I remember correctly.

2) Eco is offered outside of Steam on our website since before we even were on Steam - it is not in our interest to require modders to keep two places updated with their mods nor is it in our interest that our early supporters and everyone that decides... Read more

No, that has no effect. There always will be a slight pollution left, but that shouldn't have any real consequences if you're not around with twenty of them. In most cases this happens it's actually caused by the air pollution dropping down in biomes with medium or higher rain simulation, as typically workbenches that cause air pollution are near filters.

The air pollution component currently only works for workbenches that have a pipe connection and hasn't been finished for all of those that have which leads to this behaviour that indeed is on our list to polish up.
