No, there is no issue using an in game system.

You won’t be banned for kicking someone.

Players say all sorts of things in game, on the forums, reddit, etc… doesn’t make it true.

I’m not sure what you’re looking for? The EU/NA verison is already different from the KR version due to, yes, EU/NA prefrences.

Hey all!

I’m going through the forums and I’m starting to see an uptick in players not receiving a refunded raid ticket for this raid when kicked out. We have an automated system that while has worked in the past, seems to have something against clowns…

If you have NOT received your refund ticket please respond with your player name, server and how long ago you were kicked and still with no ticket. This will help us gather information and see where we can find the disconnect. Thank you so much and apologies for this headache!

I apologize if I’m misunderstanding this, but I believe you think CMs/Support has control when it comes to kicking people from content in the game?

CMs have no control of anything in game nor any control in any decisions made in game. We are here to help gather information from the player base and provide it to AGS and SG. And then vice versa, we take the information provided to us and share with the players. As for support, they are there for when technical problems arise or players breaking the TOS.

You’re welcome to have any sort of dialogue about the game as long as it doesn’t become overly toxic, so I see no need to take any action but I think there is a misunderstanding…

While I don’t know the details of your ban since CMs do not have access to that information and I cannot help anyone with any of that… I have seen a few threads concerned with the AH and bans. I will have the team look deeper into this. I apologize for the headache it caused you and now the distrust.

We appreciate these sorts of threads more than you can know! It’s always helpful to know what players are thinking, both good and bad, so we can figure out adjustments to make the game more enjoyable!

It does take some time to ‘lock’ in, I would also make sure you double check that it’s phone 2FA as that has helped some players.

The only bit that I DO have to add to his… I have seen some threads about bans around the AH and I honestly have no information at this time about it. This isn’t something that has been brought up with the team or talked about as a concern? (And not ‘concern’ as I don’t think it’s important but more so ‘concern’ as I’m not sure it’s happening?) I will bring it up in our meeting tomorrow morning, see if we can dive a bit deeper into this.

Absolutely acknowledging the problem and this IS a problem. The team is aware and I will be bumping up the priority to look into this.

We do appreciate the concern when it comes to bots and I’d like to try and reassure the player base that we are keeping an eye on the situation. The war against bots will be a life long thing when it comes to New World and really any MMO for that matter. The devs have a list of priorities and lately that list has grown exceptionally with the new content coming out. This doesn’t mean anything isn’t being done or planned, just that it fluctuates. We have been banning bots but I’ll let the team know that players are seeing an escalation.

The team is working on a huge list of priorities currently, bots are ALWAYS somewhere on that list. Sometimes it does slip a bit further down as a focus only because the team can only accomplish so much and bot banning is a constant fight/full time job. It’s not that we do not care (we absolutely despise them) but when something is not currently game breaking, it does get shuffled around. We do appreciate this being brought to our attention as I can let the team know when it does start to escalate.

I can bring this subject up with the team Monday morning. Communication is very important to us and as a player myself, always exciting and super helpful. I apologize you feel like we haven’t been delivering what you hoped for. We’ll try and find ways to improve on this.
