As I didn't take a diving session to the bottom of the Atlantic for Hood nor travel to South Africa for the Rhino, that would be no so far.
Even before the addition of the Ka-50 and more advanced missile helicopters, the PvP modes were not as popular or as practical than the current PvE mode is for all helicopters.

People self hype themselves to disappointment over something every update without us hinting or saying antrhing. That wouldn't be something new )
Rewards where changed some time ago for PvE. It's possible for many of the lower rank helicopters to have far more income per match, depending on your input to the battle.
We mentioned around the time Helicopter PvE was announced that this was ultimately the logical progression. Helicopters are more suited to PvE and it's proven a more popular mode.

The J-8B did not have the capacity to carry and fire 6 at once. Its correct that they can be moved to multiple pylons, but there is currently no evidence to show it could carry and fire 6 at any one given time. The weapon systems only have the capacity for 4 at a time. But they could be mounted on a number of stations.
This image does not actually show 6 missiles simultaneously. Whilst the missiles could be mounted across different stations, the weapon systems only had the capacity to carry and fire 4 at a time. There is currently no evidence to show 6 could be actually used at the same time. Its for the same reason the Jaguar GR.1A also does not have 4 sidewinder options. As whilst its true they could be mounted above or below the wing, it could not be done all at the same time.
