Ground vehicle model, damage model, characteristic and weaponry changes:

APFSDS shells 125mm 3BM42 and DTW-125, 120mm M322, CL3142 and slpprj m/95, 25mm M919 and PMB 09 - the velocity values at different trajectories and armor penetration values at different distances have been specified in accordance with the

armor penetration formulas

Improvements and fixes

Armor piercing values of Ground forces rounds and bullets, that are separate from ammo belts, have been added to the protection analysis.


Duplicates of shells and rockets ammo belts have been removed from the protection analysis menu for ground vehicles and aviation.


Overview and test drive options have been introduced for Warbond store vehicles.


3D decoration info cards now feature information about available types of vehicles.


“Reset to default” warning has been added for switching to the new control device (

Reduction of research points for aviation

In the last economy update, we laid out the planned reduction of the research costs for aircraft and now we are ready to tell you more about them and apply them within the next week.


Please note! We are not only reducing the cost of research for aircraft, but also on some ground vehicles in conjunction with slightly smoothing the increase in cost with advancing along the research tree where the research cost for some vehicles will slightly increase, this is compensated for with the reduction of the similar indicator of adjacent vehicles

Fixed a bug that caused the game to crash on Linux when loading additional content.


Fixed an incorrect render in the Oculus Rift CV1 virtual reality headset.


A bug where the location of the visual model of a raised barrel didn’t coincide with the location of its damage model in AI controlled vehicles has been fixed.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented

Option “Download additional content only in the hangar” has been added to the “Customization of vehicles” menu tab.


To optimize downloading of custom camouflages or those encountered in battle from the Market, the maximum volume of the data storage has been increased for PC and Xbox versions.


Camouflage card is now again displayed when hovering the cursor over the camo’s name with no need to ope
