Correct, the in-between testing with new builds on TestLive went well, so we managed to get those fixes in too. Especially since we had the community help us with testing and feedback throughout the process :slight_smile:

Hello Exiles,

we saw your discussions around the Event Log mentioning player names while taking, stealing, destroying or otherwise interacting with the environment.

We would like to make sure to get a feeling for what the majority if you think and what you would feel comfortable with.

Please help us by answering these polls and also share it with your friends so we can get as much input as possible on this.

These options are for official servers only. We are looking into adding admin/server setting for private server owners and admins to change this as they see fit on their own servers.

That wouldn’t be a good idea at all. You want a new build out as soon as you can, to have leeway in case something needs to be hotfixed or adjusted. You want time to be able to react. Releasing a patch on the day of an event that might bring in new players is very risky. So no, that’s absolutely not a reason. If anything, It would be counter productive.

@WhatMightHaveBeen actually used the analogy I was going to use as well.

Our developers have been working on different aspects and codes of the game. For example one or several coders are very competent with the climbing system while another devoper or several are very familiar with the building system. While all of them are coders/programmers that doesn’t mean they are all equally efficient to solve a specific problem. Generally the programmer(s) who have coded the mechanic in the first place are also the ones looking at issues with said code.

Not sure but certainly not us :wink:
Since, as explained before, the fix for building issues is done by one group while another group of developers is working on additional fixes and content for a different build.

I am truly sorry if that feels that way, that is in no way intended. We definitely do not want to have one group feel that we appreciate them less than another. We know that our community has players with totally different background and focus and we definitely try to make sure we do something for everyone.

Here you go, quoted from right above. Instead of giving you estimates from the team which I got in the past, I mentioned that we will let you guys know once it’s ready. Also, I never once mentioned that patch was 100% ready as you claim. All communication was pretty clear about us having to fix an issue with the building mechanics.

The day is here and we’re not only bringing you a substantial number of fixes and quality of life updates, we’ve also added new types of Purges, a new world boss and have done several balancing passes on NPCs and crafting costs. Balancing is an ongoing process and we’re very interested to hear your feedback about these changes. There are many more balancing changes coming to make the game more challenging but also more smooth going from a newborn exiles to a full grown Survivor. As a lvl 60 veteran, you now also have a way to add additional feat points!

For our role-playing community, and everyone else who likes to use in-game chat, we added a completely new VOIP System including mouth animation. There are also a few small goodies for those players who like to create their own stories and like to have a few more non combat or building things to do in game.
