October 2021 saw the kickoff of the Fortnite Soundwave Series — a series of in-game musical shows featuring artists from around the world. After Egyptian superstar Mohamed Hamaki started off the soundwave, Australian singer-songwriter Tones And I keeps it going with her own show airing back-to-back for 72 hours starting Jan. 21, 2022, at 6 PM ET!

Each show in the Soundwave Series takes place in its own interactive experience, and Tones And I’s show is no exception. Over the coming months, Brazilian rapper Emicida, Japanese pop artist and music producer Gen Hoshino, and record-breaking French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura will have their own shows to experience in Fortnite. The v19.10 update is starting the year off with some big new features, including many community requested features! The Real Time clock, Map/Scoreboard, Creative Name Tags, Creature Manager all receive updates. We’ve also added some awesome new devices including the Prop Manipulator, Player Counter, and the Pop-up Dialog device.

A bug present in Fortnite Update 19.10 is causing Locations, Points of Interest and Landmarks on the Battle Royale map to appear in English instead of in your selected language. The names of these Locations will not match the named locations in Quests, but Quests can still be completed as normal.

Tracking a Quest, placing a marker on the minimap, or viewing the Quest in your Quest tab will appear at the correct location, and all objectives and Discovery XP are still available.

Here’s a list of all Points of Interest on the map and how they may appear in-game. We’ll provide an update to this article when the issue is resolved.

If you see a tornado start to form, that’s no signal to flee. Instead, run into it as a swirling escape strategy! You’ll spin round and round ‘til you choose to glide to safety — or if you stay spinning long enough — ‘til the twister spits you out. Don’t worry: you won’t take fall damage if you get hurled.

The Shield Keg: Restore All Shields Around It

You can spray a Med-Mist — introduced in v19.00 — to restore your or your allies’ Health. With the new Shield Keg, throw it down to restore your whole squad’s Shields! This Shield fountain spouts more than long enough to restore a player’s Shield from 0 to 100. But be careful where you throw one down, as it can restore enemies’ Shields too.

Find Shield Kegs in Chests, on the ground, and from Supply Drops. Also exchange Bars for them from Lt. John Llama and The Scientist!

Our goal is for creators to be able to make amazing, high-quality content, and for our players to have the best experience possible. 

Part of a great experience is ensuring that other players are present and that matches are full. We’ve been looking into this area and seen fewer full matches than we’d expect. Some of these issues were bugs (and some have already been addressed), but others are a result of how we’re incentivizing creators.
