In the Raining Fire update, War Thunder saw the addition of a brand-new high-tech armament type – guided air-to-air missiles with a semi-active radar homing (SARH) warhead. Today we’ll be discussing the hardware aspect of the new armament specially designed for seasoned War Thunder veterans.

What are these?

• Keys for custom camo trophies have been removed from the store on PlayStation 4® and Xbox One. To open these trophies, you only have to click the “Open” button, GE will be spent automatically in a sum equivalent to the previous version (599 GE). Sound:

• The sound indication for destroyed enemy in air battle mode now differs from naval battles.
  
• The sound event of fly-by shells near the player’s vehicle features a whistle again, along with a ‘cracking’ sound. The ‘cracking’ sound is more natural for passing-by ultrasonic rounds, but the whistling sound is more familiar to listeners.
  
• A bug has been fixed where a destroyed then repaired engine might operate without sound.

The Merkava Mk.3D is a later modification of the well-known Israeli main battle tank, developed during the 1980s. Featuring improvements in all aspects, but most notably in firepower thanks to its new 120 mm smoothbore cannon, the Merkava Mk.3D will soon become available to War Thunder tankers in the upcoming crafting event!

• Ta-152H-1 — wing profile has been recalculated to a “thinner” value , allowing delay in shock-stalling at high altitudes and speeds. Landing with flaps has become easier with minimum fuel. A bug causing motor overspeed at high altitudes has been fixed.
  
• I-225 — shock-stalling momentum has been delayed for thinner profiles (i.e. the rudder is more effective at high altitude and speeds).
  
• F4E, EJ — according to the operation's manual, the speed has been specified (increased) at altitudes below 9,000 meters.
  
• F4U-1c/d — an engine bug causing insufficient thrust has been fixed.
  
• FW-190 (all series) - a bug has been fixed where the aircraft is unable to achieve overload over 6G at high speed with minimum fuel load.

The CM25 is a tank hunter modification of the CM21 - a Taiwanese APC based on the widespread American M113. Coming as part of the upcoming update, the CM25 will soon await all seasoned tank commanders as the new top tank destroyer of the Chinese ground forces tree!
