It seems it's not Surviving Mars specific: https://forums.eveonline.com/t/cant-launch-game-when-upgrade-to-macos-13-ventura/381820
This was suggested by a user and apparently that solved it:

I found the solution, just because your system language, change it to English and reboot, will probably solve it. I just solve this problem

It may have been a temporary issue, regardless I'm happy to hear it worked out :D! Enjoy the game!

I don't fully understand this, what exactly is the issue? You redeemed the game on Steam > installed it > then what? If you get an error please provide a screenshot.

English only in the forum but to answer your question, adding languages is a more complex process than just going "Oh, let's add that language!". It's costly and as such we tend to look at revenue generated from regions and Turkey isn't currently a big enough driver for us to translate our games.
Italians are usually also asking about this so if it makes you feel any better you're not alone :p.

I actually don't see a crash in those logs, were there no other logs? I can see that your system is a bit on the older side, can you attach a DxDiag as well please?

  • Open your Start menu, Cortana or Search
  • Type "dxdiag" in the search field (without quotes)
  • Click on the dxdiag program
  • A window called "DirectX Diagnostic Tool" should pop up now
  • Wait until the green bar at the bottom-left has disappeared
  • At the bottom right-hand side, click on "Save all information"
  • Save it to a place where you can find it easily, for example your desktop
  • Attach this file here

Attach the logs and we may be able to figure out the cause ;).

That could indicate a bigger issue as explain here:

Error 0x80070570, The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable

If you cannot delete a file and you see an error message Error 0x80070570, The file or directory is corrupted and unreadable, on Windows 11/10, then see this post. www.thewindowsclub.com... Read more

Attach the error logs from your Documents folder, they may contain information that can help us crack this.

Found two threads on Steam about this, my guess is that it's something on your PC causing the issue:

We've asked the team to check this out as when we tested it before release it was smooth sailing (much like a Scandinavian longboat). Out of curiosity can you:
  1. Open the MS store app
  2. Go to Library
  3. Search for Lions of the North
  4. If it says Open, do that and see if it actually launches the game with it present
  5. If it says Install, well, ehum, install it and see if that solves it
Also, are you all using GamePass and have bought the DLC separately or did some of you buy the game via the Xbox app/MS store and then buy the DLC separably?

It's not actually deleted, the creator has changed the visibility to hidden, that's why it keeps getting installed. You'll need to manually delete it in your subscribed mods and whilst I think you're pretty well versed in how to do that I've included a link: https://www.wikihow.com/Delete-Steam-Workshop-Mods

NikolajRC said: To be fair, I am playing the steam release on Arch Linux, and not Ubuntu/Debian, which I doubt the game was even tested on
This is most likely the problem as the game was built for Ubuntu. It hasn't been tested on other Linux builds and since you're using a build we don't support there's not really anything we can do for you. That being said we do have quite a few Linux wizards in the community so there may be someone in the same boat as you that has solved it somehow and is willing to share the workaround.

@Alfray Stryke is this something you know more about? I found some references about this being a Utopia issues from years ago and that it was fixed in 1.5.1, could this have returned in a later update?

Deleting the Documents folder is not a clean installation ;). Please do all of this and try again.

Important: Go to '..\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\save games\' and copy all the save games you want to keep outside the folder

  1. Move any valued save games elsewhere
  2. "Uninstall" in Steam
  3. Manually delete both the Steam\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Crusader Kings III AND Documents/Paradox/CK3 folders (think you may have missed the first part here)
  4. Re-install game in Steam, run a Steam Verify when done.
  5. Start the game with no mods active and test
In particular make sure there are no files or folders left under either the Steam CK3 or Documents CK3 locations, before installing again.

Don't spam the same topic in multiple forums, especially for the wrong game. You already posted in the tech support section for CKII.

My bet is that you don't actually own the expansion, you own the content pack. There are two El Dorado products:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/338161/Content_Pack__Europa_Universalis_IV_El_Dorado/
]https://store.steampowered.com/app/338160/Expansion__Europa_Universalis_IV_El_Dorado/

In short, you bought the wrong El Dorado ;).   ...

The problem with GFN is that we can't get any logs, none at all, meaning we can't see what's blocking it. I see you're on the latest version of the launcher (2022.5) but the game was updated last night to 1.33.3, try updating it and see if it makes a difference.

Since it works locally the issue clearly on GFN and I'm afraid we can't really help with that since, again, we can't get any details from them. I'd say you need to talk to them again as we're not really able to troubleshoot this further :(.

Andrew is right, your temps are the cause. If you don't trust us, trust the manufacturers own specifications:
