It's a problem if an indie game dev loves any one part of the process too much.

You end up working on your favorite part all the time, instead of working on the part the game needs most.

You have to love the creation process as a whole, not any particular kind of task.

It's something I picked up from @levine a while ago. That guy consumes the most unique source material; he couldn't have made unique games like BioShock by reading the same source material as everyone else. Go weird and deep.

@curioscuro @LudeonStudios You could inspect the output_log.txt file for clues.

Or just wipe the entire install folder and reinstall. Delete all the mods too (separate folder on Steam).
