I loved this talk from @LionShieldGames on Kingdoms and Castles development. Market fit is a vastly underrated aspect of indie game success and this is a very practical approach. Plus strategic decision-making.

@TheStrangeLog: Drug chemical effects are modulated by body size. So elephants need a lot of beer to get hammered; squirrels not so much.

Been loving these game reviews from @Lord_Mandalore. Watched nearly all of them.
For a designer, it's a good way to force-feed gaming knowledge faster than you can actually play these games.

Since the US is important, it comes to mind quickly, and it satisfies the question.

Release date was November 4 2013 for the original DRM-free early access, though the final release was October 18 2018. Release dates are such a complex concept these days...

Pretty cool to have RimWorld @gamepressurecom's list of best PC strategy games.

They seem to think it was developed by @Bay12Games... but I can't complain about someone mixing me up with a genius.

No line of sight for shooting up or down hills, no fire spreading up or down hills, pawns climbing up or down hills (pathfinding), no plants spreading on slopes, no 3D geometry calculations for light and shadow, no complex indoor/outdoor evalutions...
