Services are being restored for Bethesda games now, and you should be able to log back into Fallout 76. Thanks for hanging in there today!

As an update on this, we are still actively investigating the issue causing intermittent connectivity in Fallout 76, as well as other Bethesda games, and our forums. We're working to get you back in-game as soon as possible, and apologize for the inconvenience.

In the meantime, please keep an eye on @BethesdaSupport on Twitter for updates, as well as the Bethesda.net Status Portal.

Final update for this evening: The login and connectivity issues are now resolved and you should be able to head back into Fallout 76. We apologize if this put a damper on your adventuring plans this evening, but thanks for sticking with us while we worked to resolve the issue.

Another update for you all - We are continuing to work toward resolving the issue preventing logins for Fallout 76 and other Bethesda games.

At this time, we are seeing some players manage to log into Fallout 76 successfully. However, if you are able to log in, you may find that some services like social menus, the Atomic Shop, and Fallout 1st benefits remain impacted. We are still actively working to correct the service issue as soon as we possibly can.

Hi all,
When you're crafting, it definitely shouldn't be auto-scrapping your Junk before pulling from the Scrap you already have in your Stash or Scrapbox. Thank you for the thread about this, the dev team has this on their radar to fix in a future patch!

Hi, we are looking into this, but so far it appears to be a visual issue. We'll address that, and we are looking into other reported issues affecting VATS as well.

Really happy vendors will be back soon. Any news on our water wheels turning again or being able to use the RR garage doors we purchased?

Fixes for both are in the works!

The team is actively working on a fix for the Stanley skin for Grognak's Axe, yep!

Absolutely silly question, but how long will the PTS be running for approximately?

I don't have an exact date, but typically we've kept the PTS online right up until the weekend before the patch is released.

u/valseek do existing characters transfer to the pts? If not how are we expected to achieve the xp required to test out these legendary perks.

Yes, we copied everyone's characters from the live version of the game over to the PTS a few days ago. So you should have very recent versions of your existing characters available to you in the PTS.

Next week, we're also going to add a pre-made level 250 character to all PTS accounts so that you can dive into the legendary perk system if you don't already have a high level character of your own.

u/Valseek - Will you be reopening PTS sign ups, or will you be changing it so all accounts can have access to the PTS?

We're enabling PTS access for everyone who has a PC version of the game through the Bethesda.net launcher.

Yes, the PTS is testing legendary perks later today! I've been looking forward to that feature for a long time.

I wonder, since the PTS is now open to all PC players, is the NDA lifted? Does the P finally stand for Public now?

Correct, we're removing the need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement for the Update 20 PTS.

However, since there will be people who aren't going to play test in the PTS, and some who dislike learning about new content before they can experience it themselves, we're also going to request that PTS players use spoiler tags or inform others of potential spoilers when discussing upcoming content outside of the PTS forum.

We're also asking that the majority of bug reports and feedback for PTS content be shared in that PTS forum. This is because it's much easier to sort and read through everything you all are sharing with us when it's mostly located in one place.

You didn't ask about most of what I wrote, but I'm hoping it will be helpful to others reading this thread too!
