A lot of people saying theyve already got the small backpack, although this is useful and you can mod, I don't believe you can equip skins to it.

Hey /u/VaultCommando, wanted to stop in here to let you and others in the thread know that we're making some changes to backpacks in patch 19 later this month:

  • First, we're adjusting backpacks so that different versions you've picked up as quest/event rewards or from the Atomic Shop can be applied as skins.

    • This will work similarly to how weapon and armor skins do now. You just need to add the new backpack appearance using the workbench modify menu, rather than crafting a whole new backpack every time.
  • Second, the small backpack will also benefit from this change. So, you w...

Hi! This is an issue we're aware of and planning to fix in our May patch. If she's a bit out of reach on your current world you can switch to third-person and try interacting with her that way. Or, you can log out and back in to join a new world. Hope that helps!

Mentioned this in another thread as well, but we should have a fix for this in our May patch. If she's too far away in your current world you can try logging out and back in to join a new world. Or, switch to third-person view and try interacting with her that way.

We should have a fix for this in our May patch. In the meantime, like others mentioned, you should be able to interact with the Purveyor by switching to third person. You can also try switching logging out and back in to find a new world.

Really enjoyed reading your story, /u/CandidGuidance. Really well written! This sounds like it was so much fun, and I gotta admit I'm a little jealous of your adventure haha. Hope your mysterious stranger stumbled across this post too and got a kick out of it.

We should have a fix for this turret issue in our next patch! For now, you can put your rogue turrets on timeout by storing and then replacing them.

Hi, was this the Settlers Vigilante Power Armor paint? We're aware of an issue where it may not be giving proper rad resist and should be fixing that soon.

Hi all,

This is in the thread linked by the OP, but as an update: We just released a hotfix without needing downtime this morning and have now re-enabled Vending Machines and Display Cases. Thanks!

Comment

Hi! We actually just finished releasing our hotfix without taking any downtime. Vending Machines and Display Cases should now be re-enabled, as well! More info here.

Hi friends, we're actively looking into everyone's reports of sneak/stealth feeling off since the Wastelanders patch. I don't have more info than that right now, but it's definitely on our radar!

Comment

Hey all, thanks for the reports on this one. We brought it up with the team today and there are some folks who are investigating now.

Comment

Wow, you were very quick to notice! We actually just temporarily disabled Display Cases starting a few moments ago while we investigate an issue. Apologies for the inconvenience!

I love this suggestion and have brought it up with the team before. Will definitely mention it again to get their thoughts on it, and will let you know if I hear any updates.

Your backpack is supposed to show when you're wearing the Mountain Scout outfit, and we have a fix for this coming with our next patch. Hope that helps!

Hi all, thanks for the reports! Backpacks are meant to be visible while you're wearing the Mountain Scout outfit. We have a fix on the way in our next patch.

Hi, thanks for your report about this. We're aware of this one and working on a fix. In the meantime, logging out and back in after rebuilding that Ally object should bring back your missing objectives. Hope that helps!

Hi all,

Thank you for your reports here and in other threads about these emotes. Currently, none of those are intended to be in the game or the Shop. The team is aware and they're going to get the emote section of the Shop cleaned up.

Thanks!

Hi all, thanks for the report. We saw a similar report on our own forums and have made a tweak on the back end that should help mitigate this issue.

If you log out and back in are you still consistently having issues with VATS hits not dealing damage?

As an update, this should now be resolved. If you exit the game, restart Steam, and log back into Fallout 76, please check to see if your Fallout 1st benefits are now available.

Thank you!
