Welcome to The Elder Scrolls Online v6.3.5, featuring the Flames of Ambition DLC and the start of the Gates of Oblivion year-long adventure! This DLC adds two new 4-player dungeons for you to tackle - Black Drake Villa and The Cauldron – in addition to several new item sets, collectibles, achievements, and furnishings.

Update 29, the latest base game update free for all players, brings about a number of significant changes and new features. First and foremost, we’ve updated the entire Champion Point system with a new UI and all-new stars to choose for your characters. Equipped Armor pieces also now passively augment your character’s effectiveness, and you can view additional combat stats in a new Advanced Stats UI.

Please crate a separate Cyrodiil campaign for the tests and let those, who like to play without proc sets, have all the joy and fun in this campaign.

That's part of the work we're currently doing for U31. We'll make it so certain campaigns can allow proc sets or not (including IC and BGs) and we can also better fine tune the existing item sets. At this time, proc sets are an all-or-nothing deal for all Cyrodiil campaigns.

As for those asking about console, we don't have a date yet when this will be implemented but you can expect to see what PC currently has, including the current list of item sets that are not affected (listed on page 1 of this thread).

Thanks to everyone for participating in this latest Cyrodiil test where we disabled all proc sets. Similar to what many of you have noted in your feedback, we found this test did not impact performance in a measurable amount; if anything, there was a very slight degradation of performance at times, likely due to a higher population of players in Cyrodiil.

We’ve heard from a lot of you that despite performance largely being the same, disabling proc sets has breathed new life into PvP gameplay and has made fights more enjoyable and fun. To that end, we’ll be leaving proc sets disabled until Update 31 launches in Q3. At that point, we will have implemented some new code so we can have more flexibility to campaign rulesets as it applies to proc sets. We’ll work on applying all this to consoles as well, and we’ll let you know when we have a date for this starting.

Now that we’ve had time to digest a lot of data and information, we have a better idea of next steps and the ... Read more

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that we'll be taking the PTS offline for maintenance tomorrow, March 2 at 10am EST to hotfix a high memory usage issue found on the server. We anticipate maintenance taking a few hours, but no patch will be required to download and all your current progress will remain.

Thanks in advance for your patience.

Not trying to be rude, but I couldn't care less about the color of a pet. Why not make a poll asking how we feel about the game, its performance and all the upcoming changes - things that actually matter?

Agreed.

Really fun how ZOS seems to care more about the color of a pet that barely anyone is going to use over the actual performance to make their game playable :)

To be fair, we're just trying to do something fun. The team responsible for running the poll (the Community Team) is not responsible for fixing game performance. We're very much aware of the current issues, though, and are dedicated to continuing to improve performance. Our Studio Director outlined some of the specific issues we're tackling this year in his ... Read more

Hey all, wanted to clear up a few questions in this thread since Drops have changed a bit since the new system rolled out last month. There are a few ways to know when Drops are on:

[*] Keep an eye on the Drops schedule on our website for upcoming scheduled Drops campaigns
[*] Watch the Drops page on Twitch to see when Drops campaigns are currently active
[*] When Drops are active, you'll see a tag on a streamer's page that looks like this: ... Read more

Hey everyone, thanks so much for providing your thoughts and feedback on this change, which was originally done to address some visual issues and clipping that would occur when performing emotes. However, after reviewing several threads, we recognize many of you prefer to see your weapons while using emotes despite any visual oddities that may occur. As such, we are working on reverting this change. Thanks again for all the feedback!

An update from today's patch:

In addition to the crit damage stat stuck at 0 flat and 0% still, the sprint and sneak speed stats don't seem to be working 100% correctly either, and the calculations that do work often don't update in the stats menu until you move/sprint/sneak/block. (Unfortunately the critical damage stat never updates even after critting on a mob.)

Examples: Adding or removing CP in Hasty doesn't change the Advanced Stats UI until I sprint again. Adding or removing CP in Fleet Phantom doesn't change the Advanced Stats UI until I sneak again. I have waited more than five minutes standing still waiting for the Stats page to update to no effect. (I can also confirm this for Nimble Protector, which doesn't change the Stats page until I start blocking.) This is likely to be *very* confusing for people who are standing still trying to use the Stats window to calculate the effects of CP ch...

We're seeing if we can increase the amount of CP on the template for next week's PTS patch.

When trying to redeem the code in-game with a copy/paste, make sure there's not an extra space at the beginning or end of the code.

The Elder Scrolls Online v6.2.10 fixes an issue involving Antiquities tools, an incorrect error message referencing the end of an ESO Plus Free Trial on Stadia, and multiple Stugas appearing in Orsinium.

We are also starting another test in Cyrodiil to help identify potential solutions for the ongoing performance issues affecting PvP; starting today, Item Set bonuses outside of pure stat gains are disabled for the next few weeks. During this time, you will be able to earn double AP for capturing and defending Keeps, resources, and outposts, and killing/healing other player characters. For more information on this test, including a list of which item sets are NOT included in the test, please see this forum post.

Update: We will be activating double AP during this upcoming test. To be clear, the only actions/activities that will result in double AP are capturing and defending Keeps, resources, and outposts, and killing/healing other player characters.

I assume that means PvP quests such as Battlefront or Bounty Board quests won't give double AP?

Correct.

Will jewellery traits be affected? For example Bloodthirsty

Jewelry traits will not be affected during this test.

Aliyavana;c-7115329

Any chance that double AP will be active during this time to ensure that more people will participate in this test?

Checking on this and will let you all know.

Any news on double AP ?

Not yet. The challenge is the build is already in certification, so we're discussing if/how we can enable double XP for the test. Will let you all know as soon as we can.

To answer some questions that have appeared throughout this thread:

What happens to the sets not on the list that are affected by the test?
Any bonuses that are just stats will work, and you can still equip the items. This includes one-piece Monster sets if it just has stats such as Max Magicka, Max Stamina, Max Health, Penetration, Regen, etc.

Will the change to revert the current healing restrictions also go to console?
Yes, though this won't occur until Update 29 launch next month.

Confirming that the following sets, which were called out throughout the thread, ARE affected by the test:
[list]
[*] Eternal Vigor
[*] Footman’s Fortune
[*] Hawk Eye
