So, this is how it was originally, but fans told us that because Offense was always at a loss to Defense, no one ever wanted to break peace, and the game would just turn into stalemates.

Since we didn't want Offense to simply steamroll Defense with a war declaration, we compromised. Offense can't attack right after declaring war, but then, Defense can't hit back on the first turn. Offense still gets the upper hand, but Defense has time to prepare.

Continents is actually the default map type.

The map types are actually percentages of total water that's put on the map. We give it some rules, like "make sure it's a lake that's surrounded by water" and "don't have as much water as a water world"

We're not forcing it one way or the other when it comes to *where exactly* it puts that water, and having a central lake, or a lake that takes up half the map, or something else are all valid options.

Ai-Mo society is isolationist and tends to prefer keeping to itself, preferring minimal contact with the other tribes if they can help it. Regular Ai-Moyan border patrols keep the land safe from invaders, like this band of Bardur raiders, who didn't stand a chance!

So, if you want to know what's changed, all changelogs will go here. Of course, big updates will still get a proper announcement. Also, this isn't for betas, but public releases.

Thank you. It sounds like the game at least runs on the Deck. Are there any plans to add better compatibility in the future?
Yes, we're trying to get this fixed, but we don't have an ETA yet.

The verification was a mistake. We've asked Steam to change it as we try to get this fixed, but nothing has happened. :(

To be fair, this isn't an RTS.

Right now, we use right-click for deselecting things, as it'd be pretty frustrating for others if they were forced to "always select stuff", since you can select everything on the map, especially the tiles.

When it comes to Steam, it sounds like a problem sometimes and that you should retry.

If you haven't already, try restarting Steam by fully quitting and starting it up again. If that doesn't work, try verifying the game's files. If neither of those work, tell me, and we'll try new ideas.

We've listened to your feedback and have added back some of the multiplayer matchmaking options. We've also added the ability to disable fog in replays and will sort your friends alphabetically.

Bug Fixes:
- Added more options to matchmaking
- Added 7 day timer for normal games
- Get ingame notifications when it's your turn
- Sort friends alphabetically in invite popup
- Live game timer fixes
- You get time for units without a home city as well in live games
- Disable fog in replays
- Replay improvements
- Added more camera focusing
- AIs no longer cheat past disabled tribes in lobbies
- Non-multiplayer players get their tribe scores server synced again
- Lots of smaller bug and crash fixes
