It takes a few weeks for developers to collect data. The community can say everything it wants but the developers won't give it anywhere near the amount of time they will give their internal data. Things like heatmaps on the maps, weapon usage data and a whole lot of other shit. They'll comment on things once they've decided what to do based on that data.
It's pretty typical for devs to get a bit of time off just after a launch to recover from pre-launch crunch as well.
It is the CoD devs though so I guess remain skeptical.
This is true. There’s also layers to peel back for everything. Bugs and unexpected issues are one thing, feedback and suggestions are another, and future content. All of these have to be worked on at the same time. And yup - data is key!
