One issue I'm having with Experimental is invites. Recently I moved from PC to Switch just because it's more convenient for a quick hunt. But playing on Switch I will not get an invite for Experimental. When I logged on PC invite was waiting for me in mail. I don't have problem Switching between PC and Switch but without knowing that invite waits for me I would miss it.I think I should be tagged as PC and Switch player in that case. Maybe invite players that logged on PC in last 30 days and are online now on any platform?
I wish we could, and we may be able to in the future!
Dauntless Experimental is only available to PC players with their language set to English, so we don't localize the invite messages into other languages. Because of this they can only show up on PC (since sending a message only in 1 language on console is a no-go). That being said we are talking about how we could do this better / differently in order to notify you cross-platform that you have a test available on PC.
Wait im just trying to clear this up or not but is hunting grounds the open world map we've been anticipating or is this info confidential for now?
Hunting Grounds is the open world islands with mul;tiple behemoths, gliders, and events, yes!

In case you're not familiar, Dauntless Experimental is a public test realm that we have up and running on Epic. It allows us to share what we are working on before it goes into the live game so that we can hear community feedback early. Dauntless Experimental is not under NDA.
Who is Invited?
Every Dauntless player who has their language set to English and is playing on PC has Dauntless Experimental in their library, but only people who have a test available to them will be able to launch the Dauntless Experimental build. If you have a test available to you, you will receive a message in your Dauntless in-game inbox.

Oh. Thought the notification was only available as a pop-up message when you try log into Experimental build, then when you get in-game in that build you get a mail with details in the Inbox. Don't know how I came to that conclusion.

No problem at all!! Yeah Experimental has a more in-depth message about what we are testing, but the live game inbox gets a shorter "hey you're invited" message so that we save people frustration <3

Bet I'm not invited for the 3rd time in a row. So maybe I shouldn't bother updating that Experimental Build once again, it takes forever to install the update.
You don't have to update Experimental to see if you're in, you can also check in your in-game mailbox in the live game to see if you have an invite message.
