Content Killer Perk Updates Furtive Chase
  • You become obsessed with one Survivor. You lurk in the shadows, eliminating your victims one by one. When your Obsession is hooked, Furtive Chase receives a token, up to a maximum of 2/3/4 tokens.
  • Each token decreases your Terror Radius by 5 meters while in a chase (was 4 meters).

Spooky season is officially underway, and we’re getting in the spirit with a hefty Developer Update covering everything coming to the game within the next month. This time, we have news to share about new features, Killer updates, and various Perk & map changes.


Anti Face-Camping
You probably don’t want to find yourself on the hook in the first place, but it can quickly become frustrating if the Killer decides to wait nearby, preventing all but the most coordinated of teams from rescuing you. Camping has long been a contentious topic: While there are times where camping is the smart thing for the Killer to do (if there are Survivors nearby, for example), there’s not much the Survivor being camped can do. To help in the most extreme cases, we are introducing a new feature which may give you a second chance.

It’s been a little over a week since our star-studded Public Test Build (PTB). It’s been delightful to see so many Nicolas Cages running through The Entity’s Realm, screaming at the sight of the Killer and getting befuddled by Flashlights. As we get ready for the premier, we have been working on a few adjustments based on your feedback which we’d like to share with you today.



The Onryo
We’ve been keeping a close eye (pun intended) on The Onryo to see how her balance update played out on the PTB. After reviewing your feedback, we’ve identified some opportunities for fine tuning before this update goes live.

It’s been almost a week since the debut of the End Transmission Chapter. We’ve been keeping a close eye out for feedback since the launch, and we are already preparing a few balance changes for an upcoming update. Today, we’ll take a moment to run through each of the adjustments we have made and give some explanation as to why we are making them.

But first, let’s cover a few trends we’ve noticed:
  1. The Singularity’s Biopods are often disabled, making it difficult to use its Power.
  2. Holding an EMP offers a Survivor too much protection against The Singularity’s Power, allowing them to quickly and easily remove Slipstream and disable Biopods while being chased.

It’s been a little over a week since the Tools of Torment Mid-Chapter hit the Public Test Build (PTB), the server where we test out and fine tune upcoming changes before pushing them live. As always, our team has been combing through your feedback and identifying room for improvement before the update debuts on live servers.

We want to start by giving a huge thank you to everyone who took the time to leave detailed and constructive feedback. Thank you! Your feedback has helped shape this update’s release. In this month’s Developer Update, we’ll reveal all of the changes we’ve made to the Mid-Chapter between the PTB and live releases.


Healing
