Way back when Dauntless was in Alpha they used to visit the Twitch stream I frequent quite often and get feedback. They're great people.

I still do almost every day.

Doubled the number of slayers that can play at once, does he mean number of slayers in a hunt or the server?
Totally number of Slayers who can connect to the Dauntless servers.
If only bioware cared this much.
I spent 5 years working on the Mass effect team. They do care. This stuff is super hard. Transparency is vulnerability, that vulnerable nature scares business types some times. We embrace it. We believe that if we are honest, hard working, and show our work, folks will give feedback and be patient with our mistakes. We want to be in this together with y'all. We do this to try and bring joy to the world through connected games.
Anyways I'll get off the feels box and back to scaling our servers. Thanks for being such a great group of players. I'm proud to be able to make games for you. You choosing to spend your time on a Phoenix Labs game is a big deal to me.
I do hope that in future patches, the FPS for consoles becomes smoother. As good as a stable 60FPS sounds, I’d happily take a stable 30FPS too.
High on our priority list!
tim hortons has gone massively downhill quailty wise. I would say they chose mc donalds coffee or something else.
Truth.
Way back when we had to keep track of abou 10x as many mats, you could get horns and hides by hitting the goats (they were used in the defender and sentinel sets, which didn't use behemoth drops).
They got the stagger effect and dropped the mat. You could keep knocking them out afterward (though they wouldn't drop extra parts). Sentinel set was huge because at the time it was the only way to get extra part damage (and certain parts of a few behemoths had almost as much hp as the behemoth as a whole).
The goats were also total jerk faces and used to knock you over all the time and people HATED it.
Man I want this tattoo
Thanks so much for writing this! This was really energizing to read at nearly the end of an 18+ hour day of trying to bring on stable capacity.
This should not be on live any more? This was a bug (edit for clarity)
We now have a ‘Bass Sound Effects’ slider. This was requested by the community a while ago specifically because some of the really bassy sounds were sounding a little too heavy on certain systems.
This is 100% because /u/vectorwarrior hates how much I love Bass and keeps getting grumpy at me when I ask him to make it more Bassy ;)
I can tell you, I'm sitting in the War Room at work, trying to get everything ready :)
That's what you get for playing Minecraft the other night. edit: PS I love you Scott <3
Community Mods are volunteers. We help out the developers (owners of the sub), by helping to moderate the subreddit.
And we love ya for it!
So, how do we connect our dauntless accounts to Epic Games accounts? Will there be instructions on may 21st, or will it happen automatically?
You'll be prompted to connect your account when you log in for the first time!
Working late right now. This made my night. Thank you!

I support this. I'm a big Debian/Kubuntu fan.
How do you know? are you a professional tester? :)
We don't know if those bugs are present on all accounts.
We don't know how the information is stored in game and how easy it is to check if something present in the inventory for all accounts at once. Not to mention that you need to compare two states of the game, not just check if everyone has armor-X.
We don't know if those bugs are present on all accounts.
Correct, they're not. Most (I want to say all but I've not personally validated every bug reported) of the issues that are cropping up didn't manifest or were not reported over the last few weeks of testing. We had over 300 folks from the community testing for the last 2 weeks, on top of our normal QA team. We thought that would create enough coverage, statistically, of the millions of accounts we had to touch. This patch also had over 10,000 fixes and changes in it.
I'm not looking to make excuses, just provide context. We're on it and going to get everything sorted as fast as we can.
