Yep - Epic has almost no involvement beyond supporting our cross platform account needs, and our presence on their store. They've been a huge help in terms of perspective and I am MEGA grateful for their support. That said, they're not involved at all operationally with Dauntless, or how Phoenix Labs makes and releases games.

It's on us to live up to your expectations. Thank you for the feedback, between Summer Vacations and the hangover our the push to consoles, we're behind on delivering on our promise of a transparent, approachable, and engaged development team. We'll do better. Hold us to it.

Omg so jealous.

Like a lot.

I haven't gotten mine yet. We asked our partner to get the community orders out first. But I really really really want mine.

Throughout the day there was significant issues with our Data Center in South America's Internet connection. When the issues came up we routed players to the next best region but of course for some folks that increased latency a lot. We're very sorry for the problems. Should be all fixed as of about an hour ago or so.

The only uninstall option is for the launcher. Am I ok to delete the files if the EGS installed them in a separate place than the beta install?

Should be fine, yep.

Oh Cool idea. I'll float it by the story and publishing crew!

We're actively trying to understand this issue. Some folks have reported it and a number of folks here are working on it. For about half the folks it's a wifi or router setup issue, which is weird as it historically worked a couple days prior. The other half looks like it may be something on our end. We're generally super confused by it because other people with identical progress are just fine and when we clone the accounts to test them, they often work.

If you y'all talk to someone having this issue. Please ask them to email support, each new account we see helps us get to the bottom of the issue.

These are all great suggestions! Some are nearer term than others.

Trading for example is something we are discussing at length as it will mess the economy of the game up really badly if done wrong (D3?). There's some really interesting systems that work well, like Path of Exile. I'm also spending a lot of time thinking about Warframes trading system. So this is still months away, as we haven't started programming etc against it yet. Are there any out there that you see that do it really well in a Team Based PvE context?

As a player, I love seeing dev comments like this.

Just by being around and speaking candidly and fondly of your own experiences, you give confidence to the playerbase that you truly care for the game.

Anyways, thanks and keep on keeping on.

Thanks, and will do!
