Some of the talent balancing is different between PvP and PvE....

The literally are balancing them separately. Just because they are retaining parity doesn't mean the balancing isn't separate.

True fact. There are also unique PvP modifiers for all damage/armour interactions (the whole 70%--->40% change for example).

I only mean that there's a potential for abuse unlike other emotes. "I won't shoot that bugged character model... oh wait. OUCH"

The folks on the art team told me yesterday that the Black Tusk literally smooshed all the trees when they rolled into Tidal Basin.

I think there's still some signage in the area relating to the trees though. BibleThump

Done! Thanks for the tweet. Sorry to hear about your eyes :( My MS symptoms didn't present as optic neuritis but it's something I know a lot of people have to deal with but I did have a while where I couldn't game without a controller since my hands were struggling to work properly. I'll always push as hard as I can for things like this.

That sounds really rough, sorry to hear that. Hope that getting stuck in to TD2 can give you a bit of respite. Lemme know if you want to group up!

Just got lucky. Hamish posted a link to it on the official Discord which i had literally just joined. Figured people are craving anything Division related to try and fill the void until release day. I know i am. It's an interesting podcast, gets pretty technical in places, but the stuff about dealing with cheaters and metas is a really interesting insight into the challenges they face.

Edit : Shit. Didn't realise i was actually talking to yourself! Awesome! Great podcast btw. Good luck with the launch, i can't wait and have taken Wednesday off to really immerse myself in it.

Glad you enjoyed it! It's definitely a proof of concept for the type of interviews I want to do this year :D

Kinda makes me worried that they have ruined solo play. I hope that solo play is possible above the lower world tier if not the game would be ruined for me.

You're totally safe. I plan on playing a majority of the game solo too.

Not yet! I did say that people may remember a certain skill from the E3 2014 trailer that it's based on though...

The pre-stagger that's present in TD1 was actually fixed for TD2, and what we're now seeing in TD2 is an entirely new bug which has completely different reasons but looks exactly the same as the TD1 bug - which made it extra embarrassing for them.

It's a tricky one to fix because it's related to server lag, but they think they have a fix that will be tested.

u/hamishbode and u/yannickbch were sat with the guy (can't remember his name, nice english fella) and can help confirm.

Thanks for mentioning this! That was Philip, our Lead AI Programmer.
