It is an development build. So there's no debug symbols, but no optimisation either.

You can still trigger breakpoints and read log messages, but can't see which function triggered the log message / Breakpoint.

Not a debug build. Not a development build, either, despite what the .ini might suggest. It's a shipping build. Mordhau runs on a custom build of Unreal Engine that contains some minor changes, which also include certain debug message functionality that is harmless to performance but is useful to have.

After. 1v1/3v3 is faster for us to do, so we're focusing on that first.

Eastern gear and maps are a great fit for the theme we have going for Mordhau, so it shouldn't be surprising if we turn to that region in the future.

Don't worry, we're aware and working on it!

What in the world is stab early release? Is there a way to release stabs early?

Early release is the initial part of release which can be blocked, but does not deal damage. Attack stages go something like this: windup (weapon is pulled back) -> release (weapon moves forward). now release is split up into early release (weapon can be blocked, cannot deal damage) -> regular release (weapon can be blocked and deal damage)

Already fixed this for next patch

Naming a bot was a backer reward for Kickstarter, so we didn't actually name them ourselves

And kicks maybe? Please?

Kicks vs shields are also being adjusted to have a bit more range.

Depends on the kind of stutters, a lot of people are reporting wildly different things, some can be related to audio, e.g. here https://mordhau.com/forum/topic/14637/stuttering-and-freezing-issues/?page=3 are some possible solutions, turning cloth off can also fix it for some.

We're adjusting them for next patch! :)

Bots have various personalities that are defined by probabilities to do certain things, which range from accels, drags, parries, chambers, morphs, feints, ducking, footworking, etc., as well as fall for certain things. In the end, we ended up making their behaviors fairly tame, because otherwise it was just no fun to play against in most cases. It might be good to expose them in the future via some parameters, modders will be able to use the full system as well.

This is an extremely rare bug that we only saw once before. Some anecdotal evidence can help, like if others see him tiny as well, etc.

Nearly half the weapons took my gold but didn't unlock.

Is there any plan to compensate players like me?

I got 10k because of issues, then lost nearly all of it due to more bugs.

You didn't lose the gold. It may appear to have disappeared, but it's still there, so don't worry. We're not sure yet why that happens and are looking into it, but it'll return, either on restart of the game, or steam. Some people needed to reinstall as well. We're looking into it.

It's very easy to abuse AI that climbs ladders, they'd basically be lining up for free hits one after another, just like in Mount & Blade sieges :)
