He is going to do that next and see what happens. Xbox won't respond or give us a real person and microsoft support flat out lied. Thanks for pointing me towards the Halo safety team. The problem is it banned his whole Xbox account not just Halo. Dude went from a 100% clean record on a 10 year old account to perm banned lol.
yup, that tracks with what we've seen before.
normally Halo Safety can't get involved but for this particular situation they're making an exception and they're funneling any appeals they get related to this up and requesting formal reviews.

Sent in an appeal. Bot responded and told me to get lost and provided 0 evidence. Instant brick wall. Asked Microsoft support how long the ban was. He lied to us and said it was a 2 day probably so he could end our call and go on break. Been over 2 weeks now and my brother is still banned for playing either modded campaign from steam workshop or downloading custom games through file share.
Absolute nightmare.
i'm not sure if you're referring to Xbox or Halo Safety teams here... also, Xbox Support has absolutely no insight into Enforcement matters so their information won't always be reliable, unfortunately.
your brother can always submit an additional appeal to the Halo Safety crew and ask for a second look.
